[FO4][PC][HELP]Dropping/Storing any weapons causes them to re-add/duplicate. Cannot figure what mod(s) are causing it.
2023.05.27 01:15 fuhtuhwuh [FO4][PC][HELP]Dropping/Storing any weapons causes them to re-add/duplicate. Cannot figure what mod(s) are causing it.
[SOLVED] It was a mod called "Psyker Powers 2.0". I don't know if this was due to some sort of interaction/conflict with another, all I know is that after hours of trial and error - disabling this fixed this issue immediately.
I've posted on the fo4 mods sub but no luck so far, hoping maybe one of you might be able to help.
I've spent last hour disabling loads of sets of mods (I can't disable all of them, instant CTD when opening F4) and loading and still the same bug. Dropping a gun, drops it, and then instantly readds another copy of it (sometimes a variation of the gun). Even removing the items via console commands doesn't remove them. It's ONLY weapons/throwables in the weapons tab that do this, every other tab works as normal.
I'm hoping someone recognizes the bug and saves me so much more troubleshooting... (THANK YOU)
Here's my mods (there's a lot..):

2023.04.10 18:33 GarlicAndCheese Character Concept: Melissa
| Now BEFORE you piss all over this, they put Ed and the Blacksmith in the game, people we hardly saw and had no real presence outside of backseat role and Ed's amazing ability to pass out and get possessed, so with that in mind: please just keep an open mind if you can. I made Melissa kind of a carry-support who handles resources for the team, she also dispense shemps and amulets as well as ammo for her team, even when they don't communicate with her on a mic if they can not. As a Request I am doing this one before Heather. Class: Support Heather (left) played by Samara Weaving and Melissa (Right) Played by Indiana Evans Power 1: Backpacker Melissa start the match with 6 Shemps as a max capacity as well as 4 Amulets. Melissa can carry up to 4 more of each, but loses movement and dodge-speed for every one she carry past and up to 8. She also spend more stamina on dodging. Melissa have increased capacity to carry ammunition as well, and will automatically pick up any kind she walk around and share it with anyone who needs or use it when running up to them.* Power 2: Pepper spray! While we may not know a shit-ton about her, she came with an easy access pepper spray. Any time during the game she can whip it out and blind any enemy, even those without eyes get hit by this and wave their arms out backing up, losing their stance and are easier to kill. Melissa can use this 10 times per game. ** Level 10 Power 3: Deja Vu Whenever Melissa revisit an area she's already been to before (like let's say you go scout demonic treehouse and return to it) there's a chance it will turn green on the map meaning as long as the Kandaric demon is not present in the area at the time or have an objective (Old ones, Dagger, Pages or map piece) the area will be 'clear' to enter and no enemies will spawn for a short period of time. As soon as the time is up basic units will spawn all around her and her allies within this area. While Deja Vu is active all members of her team spend 50% less stamina and move 25% faster in the green area and if all pass through it before it's up, the cooldown for Deja Vu goes from 100s to 50s. While Deja Vu is active her allies also get notified of items within 10m even behind walls or without a flashlight, making it more easy to stick around. If the Kandarian Demon finds Melissa or others while this effect is in play they can drop demons before it ends, making the Deja Vu still going but demons present. Level 25 Power 4: Face your fears While no, we did not see her fight once and she was a very minor character, she did step right in front of someone with a gun because her husband did and did so fearlessly (albeit a bit stupid) The higher fear her allies have the slower her own goes up. Melissa can stay calm and avoid possession when others around her more easily get scared and taken over, her treshold for possession sits at the full 100%. Melissa's outfit *Melissa picks up Amulets and ammo automatically but still have to pick up ammo on her own, when she pass someone with 2, 1 or no amulets she dispense one to them immediately without doing so intentionally. In other words, using them on her is a bad idea if you ask me. Melissa have unique lines to Heather, Pablo and Kelly (I don't plan on a Brad concept anytime soon) and is very nice in her lines. **Pepper spray also makes her take less damage and can't be scared or startled during a shoot with the pepper spray, she also can not give it away or drop it and it will take up her ranged weapon slot 100% until it's been used up or dropped, once dropped she can pick it up but her teammates will refuse to. submitted by GarlicAndCheese to EvilDeadTheGame [link] [comments] |

2023.02.11 11:52 TRexIRL A DM's Campaign Journal: Entry 2
Hey again, friends. I'm back with my first update. You can read the first entry here:
A little warning, if you're one of my players from the Secret Treehouse, please don't read this.
So, jumping right into things. My new crew had its first session last Sunday and honestly, it was the most fun I've had playing D&D in years, maybe ever. Running through a meat grindecharacter funnel was such a new and fresh experience that I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I've been playing this game for 20 years now (feeling old) and I have never killed a player, then in one night I killed over twenty. It. Was. Wild.
Sorry, I'll back up a bit. I had 9 players express interest in this game. 7 took the time to sit through one of the many Session 0s I did. Of the two that didn't, one has already fully dropped out due to work conflicts and the other hasn't mentioned anything. I have a feeling he’s not going to be joining us. But that's totally fine! It won’t change any of the ideas ahead. Moving forward, I am just going to plan on having all of them at the table. I have an explicit ‘no obligations’ rule, so I don’t think we will have all 7 often, but it might happen. We’ve already gone through the next month's schedule, and I don’t think we will have it happen again in February.
We started the night sitting down to roll up some level 0 characters. I made a macro to roll up stats, a profession, and starting equipment all in one button. For stats it was 4d6, dropping the lowest, in order. Each player rolled up 3 of these characters. When it came to race, I gave them an option. They could pick any of them from the Planegea book (or any, really) or they could roll on a chart I made. If they chose to roll on the chart they were locked in, but I would give them some bonus starting experience as a reward for leaning into the randomness. All of them chose the chart for all of their characters. I also had them roll a random clan their characters came from. I made up some quick ones on the spot and even asked them to name an animal. We ended up with Owl, Deer, Racoon, and Aligator. The majority of the people came from the Owl clan, with one notable one from Deer.
The entire process took about an hour and then we were able to finish and we were able to start the game proper. My intro was literally the Star Shaman’s intro from the beginning of the book. I thought it was so well written and gives little hints at all the fun secrets they can find as they explore the world. I changed it ever so slightly to fix the context, but basically, it was the Star Shaman sitting around a clanfire getting ready to tell a tale to some children. It ended with ‘and our story starts not very far from this very site…” The ‘camera’ then faded up to the day-star as it formed in the sky, and then back down to a large gathering of clans. I explained that there were four clans that were traveling back to the Great Valley after a long, hard winter in the Allhunt. This particular path led them through a narrow canyon, but not many could go at once which led to these clans having to camp for a few days while they waited their turn to pass through the bottleneck. I emphasized that their current leaders had been failing. They had not planned well enough for the winter and now everyone was starving, angry, and voices of dissension were starting to rise.
On top of this, was the real threat. Over the winter a beast had moved into the area and this camping spot was now in its hunting ground. They had been losing members every night in violent attacks. In a desperate attempt, the four chieftains got together and came up with a plan. They would have their people draw lots and those people would have to go to the beasts lair to keep it busy long enough for the clans to hurry through the canyon. It was very explicit that they were not being sent to kill the beast. They are a sacrifice. A distraction. We didn’t roleplay this very much. It was just a quick explanation as to why these 21 people found themselves looking at a cave entrance on the other side of a small river.
Seeing the players adapt to the funnel playstyle was really interesting to me. Crossing the river was their first challenge and they approached it like I would expect seasoned D&D players to. They recognized it was dangerous and they took every opportunity to give themselves a leg up on it. They were shooting arrows tied to ropes to help them cross and making sure they had some strong people go first, while some stayed back, and the weaker characters went in the middle so they could be rescued if needed. Lots of rescues were needed but no one died. It was interesting though, that one of them, a Godmarked, ended up saving 3 different orcs from drowning (one of them twice!). He earned the nickname ‘Orcsaver’. I was really hoping he would become a PC so I could actually give him that title.
The next challenge was a giant boulder blocking the entrance. I could tell they were emboldened by their success and they all had at least one character help with the rock, trying to dogpile the dice rolls to get it done. It did not go how they thought. The dice were not with them and four of the characters were crushed and killed outright. It was deafening silence in the voice chat for an awkwardly long time and then we all just erupted into giggles. They spent some time trying to figure out if they could be rescued, and then ended up just fishing some gear up out of the mud to from their dead comrades. After that, they REALLY got into it. There was no more caution, just wanton fun. Everyone was charging in, doing cool stuff, and trying weird things. At one point a guy tried to use his talisman of Lightning Lure to swing across a chasm. The dice did not go his way and it turns out he grabbed the wrong talisman and summoned a hostile CR4 water elemental. Needless to say, that guy died. Another notable character, the orc that drowned twice, managed to not roll a single success on anything. He gained the nickname ‘Captain Useless.’
There were more challenges and more hilarious deaths that I won’t go into. Orcsaver ended up falling down a hill and getting impaled on a stalagmite. At one point one of the players stopped the group to have a talk. Keep in mind, she’s fairly new to D&D so I thought this was a pretty big moment for her. She asked ‘So, we’re just a sacrifice right? So whats keeping us from just….leaving?” I told her “absolutely nothing.” Right at that moment I could see it kinda click on her face. They mulled it over for a bit but I did remind them. “You’re under no obligation to stay and sacrifice yourselves at all. But if you aren’t here to distract it, it will go back for your friends and family.” They didn’t need any more convincing. The ‘Big Damn Hero’ instinct kicked in and they charged into the beasts lair, hopped up on mushrooms that gave them temporary barbarian rage. In the end, the Sabertooth Troll fell and the threat to the clans was over. Thats where we stopped it. We had already ran over by an hour and my east coast player had to get to sleep. What really surprised me was all 6 of the others wanted to stay and talk about who was going to get elevated to their character and just talk about the crazy night. Even the guy that went to sleep was texting me character ideas when he should have been in bed.
After a half week of talking, we have most of our party ready to go.
Erik will be playing Ghelm, a black dragonborn shadow sorcerer. He actually grew up in Free Citadel but was asked to leave when he did some questionable magic. Erik got *into this*. We had so many conversations about the world and his character and all kinds of things. We decided for story purposes, Ghelm figured out how to open a new portal to the Nightmare Realm, which is what got him kicked out of Free Citadel. This won’t be something he can do on a whim. It will take lots of time and resources. He just really wanted to be a strong plot device.
Shaun is playing Quietstump, a gnome rogue with a knack for pilfering.
Terry is Tinker Tail Kinker, a gnome Spellskin with a nemicolopteris familiar.
Kevin is Sipsip, a halfling bard who is also a Winemaker.
Kelly is Doe, a human ranger. She is the notable one from the Deer clan. She’s really leaning into that aesthetic for her character and I love it.
Brandi will be playing Dura, an orc barbarian. This one surprised me. She went in from the beginning wanting to play a bard but her rolls screamed barbarian and she is letting the randomness guide her.
Last is Evan. I don’t know what Evan is doing. Evan doesn’t know what Evan is doing. I know he’s going to waffle until 5 minutes before we start on Sunday. No shade here. We are basically the same person when it comes to this stuff and I would be doing the exact same thing in his position. Last we spoke, he was leaning toward Warlock.
Oh, and Captain Useless survived. He was not chosen to be elevated to a PC but I am 100% turning him into an NPC in their clan. “Drain the Useless”. (I LOVE Planegean naming conventions).
That just left me to plan what is going on for the next session. The beginning will be their triumphant return after succeeding in a suicide mission. They are going to find their clans in a bit of a riot. They’ve split into two camps, those still loyal to their chieftains and those that felt sacrificing their own was a cowardly move and the leaders should have faced the troll on their own. When the dust settles, some of the clans will decide to follow the players and form a new clan, while the others will disappear into the night.
From the beginning I wanted the chieftain of one of the clans to escape and become a boss of a low-level enemy faction. My initial thought was Aligator. It's nice and intimidating and would make for a good baddie. However, Owl came up so often during the adventure that I think it absolutely has to be them. The chieftain will take off in the night with some loyal followers and the PCs will have their own clan.
The next big plan is to have them continue the journey. They’re still low on food and salvation will come in the form of a dwarf encampment that welcomes them in. The dwarves are being attacked by yet another scary monster, and they have food to trade in return for the new clans help with their new problem. This will kick off the ‘In the Lair of the Night Thing’ adventure. I’ve got the maps and main enemies made for this in Roll20 but I don’t think we will have too much to do with this yet. We might get it started but they shouldn’t get too deep into it. My wife gave me a great idea for this: At the end if there was a character that stood out as a hero more than the others, they will name one of the baby dwarves after them. I think this will really help tie at least one player to the world.
As far as new mechanics, I don’t think I’ll be introducing any in this session. I’m considering doing something special with the spellskin. I think they need some way to learn new spells, which will be difficult with no spellbooks floating around. I think I might allow her to use her reaction when a spell is cast in combat to make an arcana check to see if she can figure it out. Then, during downtime, she can paint it on her cavern wall and give herself a new mana-tattoo.
So that's it! I’m sure this is an absolute mess but it's almost 4 am and the brain is fried. See you all next week!

2023.01.22 21:45 mmcgui12 Trying again since it’s been a while: A kids’ fantasy book with time travel
So, sometime in the spring of 2003, I remember reading (or my teacher was reading to the class) this book about these kids who were on a school field trip to some sort of park on a beach. They got separated from their class and wandered into a sea cave, then ended up time traveling. I think it took place somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, either Washington State or Oregon.
I really enjoyed the few chapters I did read/hear, but I don’t think I ever wrote down the book title. It was the end of the school year, so I never actually finished the book. My teacher may or may not have moved and/or retired, and he’s no longer on Facebook, so I can’t ask him.
One user on my original post on
namethatbook led me to a movie that was supposed to have been based on the short story The Time Trap by Leo P. Kelly, which wasn’t it. (I looked up the movie that they recommended because they thought was supposed to be based on it, but there was something on the IMDB page that was like “contrary to popular belief, this isn’t based on that story.” And the book I’m looking for is a full-length kids’ novel, not a short story.)
From what I can vaguely remember, I can rule out one of the Goosebumps books with a similar plot, because what I’m looking for wasn’t scary (and it was longer than a Goosebumps book normally is). I also ruled out Warriors of Alavna by NM Browne, since that one takes place in the UK, and even though it was originally published in 2000, I don’t think it got a US release until 2004.
It also wasn’t the first Interworld book by Neil Gaiman because it was too recent, and the “kids getting lost on a school trip” part in it takes place in a city and not on a beach.
Other books from comments I ruled out:
- Over Sea, Under Stone by Susan Cooper (because the Susan Cooper book was something that was published way before what I’m looking for and something I read more recently, plus the book I’m looking for wasn’t set in the UK, and the kids were visiting family in that one, not on a school field trip)
- Gemma James series (I’m looking for a standalone book)
- The Magic Treehouse series (ditto the standalone thing; plus the kids in what I’m looking for weren’t related, it was a longer book than Magic Treehouse books tend to be, and it’s set in a different part of the US)
- The Locke and Key comics (what I’m looking for was a novel and not a comic, plus Locke and Key is too new)
- Journey to the Other Side by Carl M. Sherrill (the link the commenter posted made me remember that the book I’m looking for might’ve had a blue cover, at least that particular edition)
- Escape from the Island of Aquarius by Frank Peretti (again, I’m looking for a standalone novel, and I don't think it was a Christian fantasy book, just a regular fantasy book)

2022.09.02 04:50 Burb4 Total Drama Island: My Way Part 1
There are changes especially for the in the eliminations but I'll keep some of them canon.
- Not So Happy Campers Part 1 & 2: Chris introduces himself and explains how the game will work and winner will receive one billion dollars the boat drops off 84 contestants off at the island. At the elimination ceremony, Chris explains to everyone the rules. Unlike in canon there will be team captains and they get to choose their teammates and name the team themselves rather than Chris deciding. Everyone will wear a bandana corresponding to their team's color on their neck and the team captain gets to have a bandana will a small gold badge that saids: "Captain". If the team captain gets eliminated their teammates can elect who will take their place. When a teammate gets eliminated they have to give Chris their bandana Here are the teams:
Hostile Grizzlies (Red): MacArthur (leader), Sanders, Izzy, Lightning, Jo, Jacques, Ryan, Stephanie, DJ, Eva, Tyler, Zoey, Sky, Jasmine, Duncan, Bridgette, Gerry, Pete, Rodney, Owen
Clever Dolphins (Blue): Scarlett (leader), Cameron, Heather, Harold, Beth, Staci, Ellody, Mary, Laurie, Miles, Shawn, Leonard, Tammy, Gwen, Emma, Noah, Dawn, B, Junior, Cody, Courtney
Vain Peacocks (Green): Alejandro (leader), Blaineley, Justin, Lindsay, Dakota, Topher, Jen, Tom, Anne Maria, Amy, Kelly, Taylor, Katie, Sadie, Sugar, Leshawna, Samey, Crimson, Ennui, Ella, Brick
Average Unicorns (Yellow): Dave (leader), Mike, Geoff, Brody, Trent, Sierra, Devin, Kitty, Jay, Mickey, Dwyane, Rock, Spud, Lorenzo, Chet, Ezekiel, Scott, Max, Beardo, Sam, Carrie
Chris then showed them four large cabins one for each team and are also corresponding to the teams' colors both inside and out. Everyone unpack their stuff and get settled in and head to the main lodge to eat lunch and Chef threw a knife at Geoff for wanting pizza, the first challenge is to jump off the cliff and land in the safe zone, Courtney, DJ, Cameron, Ella, Jen, Tom and Dawn wear chicken hats for chickening out, Justin did not land in the safe zone but sharks take him to shore thanks to his looks, while Mike accidentally lost his shirt and became Vito and punch the sharks. The Peacocks have three people wearing chicken hats so they don't get a cart. The Average Unicorns have trouble cooperating while trying to build their hot tub and thus losing and had to send someone home, meanwhile Chef grabbed DJ and dragged him into the kitchen and forces him to formed an illegal alliance. Ezekiel insult the girls and was strangled by Eva and he got eliminated because of it.
- The Big Sleep: Chris has everyone wake up and first they do a twenty kilometer run but if they don't want to they can just walk. Then everyone eat a banquet and Chris announces the Awake-A-Thon. Twelve hours into the challenge, Sugar, Owen, Spud and Beardo are the first four to fall asleep. Heather forms an "alliance" with Lindsay, Beth, Ella, Zoey and Kitty despite being on different teams though Heather though she could benefit herself if she has at one or two people from each team to be in an "alliance", Eva heads to the bathroom and drops her MP3 player and Chris dropped his phone to put a fairy book away. Heather grabbed the MP3 Player and puts it in her pocket while Topher took the phone to call the producers in order have himself replace Chris. Everyone tries to stay awake and Justin even tries to cheat by painting eyes on his eyelids, Sierra sleeps next to Cody and she kissed his ear when they both wake up Cody was screaming while Sierra smiled. Last four standing are Duncan, Gwen, Sierra and Kelly. Duncan uses the bathroom but he falls asleep costing his team the challenge. Eva throws her teammates' stuff out of their cabin, accusing one of them took. Heather gives Eva her MP3 Player back and Eva apologizes but she got eliminated anyway then she kicked Chris in the kiwis.
- Dodgebrawl: Everyone in the Hostile Grizzlies and Clever Dolphins didn't get any sleep for 4 nights because Owen and Harold snored all night Harold came in with a drawn mustache. In the confessional, it's revealed Duncan drew a mustache on Harold while he was sleeping. Heather pulled her "alliance" members outside and explains mostly rules of the alliance to them, she wouldn't let Zoey and Lindsay talk to Mike and Tyler. The next challenge is dodgeball and each team choose 5 people, and naturally Ella, Cameron, Dawn and Noah sit out throughout the entire game but they were told to at least cheer for their team. Justin refuses to play dodgeball after the first round against the Dolphins after his beauty was "tarnished" by a black eye. During the third round with Dolphins vs Unicorns Heather caught Lindsay and Tyler hanging out and threw a kayak at him. It was the third round with the Peacocks vs the Grizzlies. Jay and Mickey did surprisingly well by dodging all the balls Owen threw at them and one of them caught the ball. Last round is the Unicorns vs the Peacocks and Alejandro forces Justin to play with them. Justin was the last one standing but he then whined about all the bruises on his face after the Unicorns threw dodgeballs at his face. Everyone voted off Justin for his complaining and whining about his minor injuries.
- So Uh Where Do We Eat?: Chris and Chef took the contestants to Pahkitew Island on a large boat. Shelter was already set. Five treehouses, four for the teams and one for Chris and Chef. Chris tells everyone for their next challenge they must build a place to eat at. Chef is the judge and he gets to choose which cafeteria is the worst. Staci keeps annoying her team about her ancestors "inventing" stuff while they were building and Scarlett and eventually everyone told her to shut up. Time is up and three cafeterias consists of an old food truck and three picnic tables each but in different colors. The Dolphins' is a sloppy version of the main lodge. The moose stampede ran over and it falls apart and they lost the challenge with Staci saying her ancestors "inventing" random buildings. During the elimination ceremony, Duncan comes up to Staci and told her she also has a lot to learn about the real world. Staci gets eliminated.
- Three Zones And A Baby: The teams each get one baby swaddled in of course the teams' colors and carried them through three zones, the Lion's Lunch consists of lions and rattlesnakes, Pasta Blaster is run by Chef blindfolded and holding his pasta cannon and the Avalanche Zone. When everyone is at the Avalanche Zone they must return their babies because Chris doesn't want to risk getting sued. The Unicorns lose because Max did not return the baby and was eliminated for it.
- Hurl And Go Seek: During 11:00 PM Chris uses an air horn against the loudspeaker to wake everyone up and prepared a pre-challenge, he was originally going to order pizza, burgers and fries but he doesn't want to risk the budget so he brings some Juggy Chunks which expired back in 1976, first two teams with at least one member to finish their drink, the seekers of hide and seek. Sugar and Owen happily drank theirs while everyone else gagged. Crimson and Ennui showed no signs of disgust, Alejandro, Jasmine, Shawn, Dave and Sky are the only ones who didn't drink theirs. Gwen told Cody she's not into him. The Peacocks and Grizzlies are the seekers while the Dolphins and Unicorns are the hiders. Everyone, especially Crimson and Ennui then suffer food poisoning for the rest of the challenge and Sugar and Owen's took a little longer to kick in, Chef even showed concern for them while Chris just laughs it off Alejandro and Jasmine have to do all the work of seeking because of this. Dave and Sky unknowingly climbed the same tree and when they both saw each, Dave asked to be her boyfriend. Sky told Dave she told him she already has a boyfriend but she was going to break up with him after she wins or gets eliminated and calmly chews him out for cutting her off while she tried to tell him multiple times. Dave was disappointed but this time he understood. When everyone started climbing up the tree, Dave sacrificed himself bringing everyone down with him, costing his team the challenge and everyone who's been food poisoned get their stomachs pumped. During elimination, Dave made buttons and even votes himself off. Before he gets on the boat he wished Sky good luck before heading off to Playa Des Losers and Mike was elected to take his place. The island started going crazy afterwards.
- Scarlett Fever: Everyone grew suspicious of the island's behavior and demand to know what's going on. Chris tried to cover it up but it didn't take long for him to reveal that the island is artificial. Scarlett excitedly took the only map Chris had to locate the control room. B and Cameron grew suspicious of her and followed her. Once at the control room, B finally spoke up and told Scarlett to move over so that he'll shut down the countdown. Scarlett took off her glasses and lend her hair down revealing her true self. She sends a robotic bear to get rid of B and Cameron but B tried to wrestle it. Scarlett called Chris and told him she now has control of the island and she'll kill everyone on the island. Chris told her she's one sick person and if she does that, not only she will be put in jail but he'll get a lawsuit, go to jail, end his career and he won't get a paycheck. Scarlett told him she won't do it if he gives her the money. Chris refuses but then she fired several tree rockets at him, scaring him but he refuses to give the money to her. The teams made a truce and decided to work together in order to not die. The Grizzlies destroy all the Chris robots. Meanwhile Sugar comes to B's rescue and destroyed the robotic bear and B then pry the doors open, Sugar tackles Scarlett to the ground and ties her up using her own hair. Cameron pressed Ctrl-Alt-Deleted. Despite saving everyone it did leave one half of the island on fire while the other is frozen solid. The police took Scarlett away thus eliminated from the competition and Heather is now Team Captain.
- Not Quite Famous: Everyone heads back to Camp Wawanakwa and are at the stage and Cody still tries to impress Gwen with failing results. Trent saves a seat for Gwen and Lindsay blows a kiss for Tyler and Heather gave her a warning. Chris says today's challenge is a talent contest and everything is allowed as long it's legal which Duncan was disappointed about. The teams have to choose their most talented and they're allowed to have a buddy if they want. The Grizzlies chose DJ, Dolphins chose Leonard and Tammy, Peacocks chose Alejandro and the Unicorns chose Dwyane. DJ was originally supposed to do his ribbon dance but Chef made him dress up as a serial killer before the talent show and Chef gave him 2/9 for not even trying to scare everyone. Alejandro is next and he has a Flamenco guitar, he sings in Spanish (to Heather mostly) and he got a 7/9. Dwyane tries to do a handstand and he's doing just fine but he throws up on everyone and even accidentally puked into Chris' mouth (Chris even accidentally swallowed it) due to the chips and head rush earning a facepalm from Junior and a 3/9 because Chef does find it a little bit funny. After cleaning the stage up it's Leonard and Tammy's turn and they have a bear and a brick wall. Predictably, their attempts failed due not telling the difference between fantasy the Dolphins immediately regretted their decision and it was a double elimination so they both got eliminated as their team got annoyed with them.
- The Sucky Outdoors: The contestants must survived one night in the woods and the last team to arrive will say goodbye to one of their teammates. Katie and Sadie stop at a blueberry bush and ate the blueberries. At night Owen tells his team a story about the time he and his grandpa killed a 10 ft bear and then it's Duncan's turn to tell a scary story. DJ adopted a bunny, Ennui and Crimson adopted a bunny too but it was black and they gave it a goth makeover afterwards. Katie and Sadie get into an argument and slept in a cave for the night. With the Peacocks asleep except Brick who needs to pee, he goes out of the tent to do so until he heard a rustling in the bushes, a "bear" showed up and he scream waking his team up and Brick pees himself, they noticed the "bear" and screamed and they all climbed up a tree and Kelly falls off but the "bear" catches her asked if she's okay. The "bear" is revealed to be Izzy and she joined the Peacocks for the night. Back with the Unicorns who are roasting fish, two real bears showed up but they think it's just Chef and Chris messing with them, they tried to take the head off only to rip the bear's fur off. They screamed and climbed up a tree and one bear rips Mike's shirt becoming Vito and he beats up the bears. The next morning everyone returned but the Peacocks lost due to missing two members. Katie and Sadie returned and apologized to each other, then Blaineley scolded them for getting themselves lost. Unfortunately for at least Katie and Sadie it's not a double elimination. Katie gets eliminated and told Sadie to keep going before boarding the Boat of Losers and they told each other they missed each other already.
Stay tuned for part 2

2022.08.04 10:28 wijamee A comprehensive list of the pubs in close proximity to Sydney train stations (is my goal)
Inspired by a post he saw on Facebook, my boyfriend has decided to aim for 365 individual pubs (well, venues primarily selling beer from taps) in a year. He's well on his way in the 200s.
I wanted to help out, so I figured a great way to find a lot of different pubs would be to figure out which were in close proximity to public transport. I've compiled a list of all the pubs within 1000m of Sydney's train stations (with the exception of CBD stations where the density and crossover made 500m more practical).th
But Google Maps is an imprecise tool and I'm sure I've missed some - so I'd love any advice you might have about pubs I've missed, or if you know that a venue has shut down.
For reference, I decided this would be the definition of pub, as stolen from Wikipedia: "Open to the public without membership / residency. Serve draught beer or cider without requiring food be consumed. Have at least one indoor area not laid out for meals."
To get to the point...the list:
ETA: Metro and ferry wharves are my next goal, I’ll add them in the next couple of days
Also for reference, the map I got my stations from:

2022.07.14 00:30 mmcgui12 Trying again since it’s been a bit: A kids’ fantasy book I vaguely remember from fifth grade. There was time travel in it.
One user on my original post on
namethatbook never got back to me about what they thought it was. (Edit: After asking in a reply on that original post, I was led to The Time Trap by Leo P. Kelly, which wasn’t it.)
Now that I think about it, I don’t think it was the first Interworld book by Neil Gaiman because it was too recent, and the “kids getting lost on a school trip” part in it takes place in a city and not on a beach.
Sherrill (the link the commenter posted made me remember that the book I’m looking for might’ve had a blue cover)
- Escape from the Island of Aquarius by Frank Peretti (again, I’m looking for a standalone novel, and I don't think it was a Christian fantasy book, just a regular fantasy book)

2022.07.11 03:48 shmalvey Rank These Careers—Kailah, KellyAnne and Theresa
I'm trying to determine the last two spots in my updated top 25 rankings and it's razor thin between these three women.
How I personally would rank all their seasons against each other (I'm not factoring in Kailah's Final Reckoning since she barely competed on that season):
1. Theresa Exes 2- Won three missions, beat Nany in elimination, finished second in the final
2. Kailah All Stars 3- Made three Authorities, beat KA in elimination in the final, finished second among the women in the final, solid political game with the Treehouse
3. Kailah Dirty 30- Won three missions, beat Jenna and Aneesa in elimination, played a strong political game aligning with Jenna, Tori, Cara and Camila (then turning on Cara and Camila toward the end). Lost in the purge elimination to Camila.
4. KellyAnne The Ruins- Beat Evelyn and Veronica in eliminations (Evelyn threw her elimination), the Champions were scared to death to face her in elimination
5. Theresa Free Agents- Won three missions including the partner Dug Out mission. Beat Camila in the Looper elimination. Lost to Laurel before the final. Shaky political game burning her vote after orchestrating Laurel going in.
6.KellyAnne All Stars- Won two missions, including arguably the hardest win of the season in Rib Cage Pass. Tied for third in points in the final with Jonna, won the most stages out of any woman and was the first woman to finish the mountain climb.
7. KellyAnne All Stars 3- Two Authorities including an outright win in the Stacked mission. Had the least amount of points out of any woman on the first day and lost her elimination to Kailah in the final. Was on shaky ground politically all season.
8. Kailah Vendettas- Beat Marie in an elimination that Marie claims she threw (even if she didn't it's not an impressive win). Made two troikas (second-most out of any woman), finished fourth overall in the final (second-among women) but got to the second stage because Kam messed up in the high/low game.
9. KellyAnne The Island- Won an incredibly tough Face-Off against Rachel and Robin. Got her key stolen by Ryan near the end of the season. Was on the outside politically all season.
10. Theresa Double Agents- Her and Jay won the mini-final. Became public enemy number one after pitting Kam and Ashley against each other, lost to Kaycee in elimination.
11. Kailah Champs vs. Stars 2- Beat Ashley in a mental elimination. Her and Drake lost to Casper and Louise right before the final.
12. Theresa FM2- Her and Ryan made it to the final elimination before losing to Jenn/Noor.
13. KellyAnne Bloodlines- Beat Nany in elimination, lost to Jenna. Was on the terrible blue team, was aligned with Bananas through Anthony but he couldn't protect her.
14. Theresa Cutthroat- Blue team struggled winning just two missions. Theresa lost Tori H via Tina. Tina threw the elimination to Tori.
15. KellyAnne Rivals 3- Her and Jamie were pretty bad throughout the season but managed to beat Nelson/Amanda in elimination before losing to Wes/Nany.
16. Kailah Invasion- Beat Marie in elimination, lost to Syliva. Was on the outside politically all season.
17. Theresa Rivals- Her and Camila could have been a great pair but they were thrown in against Laurel/Cara and lost in episode three.
18. Theresa Rivals 2- Had no chance being paired with Jasmine. They were handed a win in the Frog Smash mission. Lost to Camila/Jemmye in elimination. This arguably should just be thrown out because she had such a lackluster partner.
19. Kailah Total Madness- Didn't make any tribunals, lost to Kaycee in elimination, pretty much checked out the entire season.
Averaging out, you get 1. KellyAnne (4+6+7+9+13+15= 54/6=9), 2. Kailah (2+3+8+11+16+19= 59/6=9.83), 3. Theresa (1+5+10 +12+14+17+18=77/7=11
If you take out Theresa's Rivals 2, it's 1. KellyAnne (9), 2. Kailah (9.67), 3. Theresa 9.83
Stats
Daily Wins- Kailah 12, Theresa 10, KellyAnne 5 (It's absolutely amazing she only has this many when she was on two team seasons)
Eliminations- Kailah 6-3, KellyAnne 5-4, Theresa 2-7
Finals- KellyAnne 3/6, Kailah 2/6, Theresa 1/7
Politically I'd rank them 1. Kailah, 2. KellyAnne, 3. Theresa (KellyAnne and Theresa are both pretty terrible)
I had to write this all out to make my thoughts clear and I still don't feel like I'm closer to an answer. I think most people would say Theresa is the best competitor but that's not what my rankings are about. She has the best season out of any of these girls but she only has one other season that would be considered good (Free Agents), three fairly average seasons (FM2, Cutthroat, Double Agents) and two bad seasons (Rivals and Rivals 2).
Kaialh has three seasons I'd consider good (All Stars 3, Dirty 30, Vendettas), a decent season on CvS2 and then two below-average seasons with Invasion and Madness.
KellyAnne has three good seasons, a season that's hard to classify in The Island, and then two average-at-best seasons in Bloodlines and Rivals 3.
Man, I still don't know. Anyone want to help me out here?
