Medications: Amlodipine 10 mg (started 3 weeks ago), Baby Aspirin 81 mg (started 4 days ago), Pepcid 20 mg (started 4 days ago)
I was recently diagnosed with MGUS after I went to my doctor regarding poor appetite, excessive sweating and weight loss over the past 2 years. I've had a few CT scans done, chest, abdomen and pelvis with contrast, which showed severe coronary artery calcification, I have a nuclear stress test this week. There was question regarding something in both kidneys but I'll defined. They thought possible kidney infection and I did antibiotics, and they did repeat kidney ultrasound which just showed a cyst.
I've seen multiple specialists (endocrine, neurosurgery for arachnoid cyst in brain, Infectious disease for false positive Hep C, multiple and different doctors visits) and no one has given me full definitive answers regarding my symptoms. I do have a history of anxiety and depression, and bad health anxiety.
However the past month, I've felt different aches in my joints (foot, ankle, back, neck, groin), my muscles, fatigue, neck and back pain. I've had the neck and back pain for about 3 years, and did physical therapy for it, even had MRI for them but I noticed I'm having more pain there. But I also have tech neck. I just can't tell if I'm crazy or if I warrant more work up. I haven't been able to eat or sleep well from worry for the past 4 weeks and I'm so tired. Any responses would be appreciated. 6 months in as of yesterday and though I have better days than when I was 3 months off, my sleep is back to being crazy unpredictable. I fall asleep at 1130 PM and wake up inevitably at 4 AM. Then, I fall back asleep if I am lucky at 6:30 AM get up at 8:30 AM and then take a nap from 1-3 PM in the afternoon. When I was on caffeine, I would sleep a whole 9 hours like a baby. Before I got on caffeine, it was the same thing, sleeping a whole 9 hours. I have seen other long-timers of decaf have the same issue. I am wondering if people who have been off for more than a 1.5 years have had these issues and if so, when did it, if at all, resolve?
Also, nothing is wrong with me. I eat healthy, workout, take great care of myself and have had extensive lab work done with a doctor who thoroughly examined me all reporting great health. The only thing that is different this year is that I quit caffeine.

While the IP rights for devs are about to be cancelled, I'm wondering how much gross do you think I should ask ? Because I'm pretty sure I won't be willing to stay at my current position for 2600 gross even though I have a company car that I barely use..
My boss already said "No chance you'll be able to have the same net after reducing IP rights" but.. At the same time, 2450 net for a 3 years experiences dev in 2024 does seem okay with the market ? At least in Brussels.
I was thinking about asking 3500 gross, does it seem okay to you or my expectations are too high ? It is still lower than the median salary in Belgium..

Coal crafting is not sustainable anymore, meaning now you cannot just craft it as usual, you're going to eventually run out of pots and axes, now you have to get bare handed tons of wood, for then crafting the coal pile, but then the profit will be very low (340 wood for coal pile, 80-120 of coal as output), making the whole coal grind lasting hours for no reason, just why devs? Why do you have to make the game so annoying?
Looks of the game, the map, the road, the wasteland and so on is now not as apocalyptic as it was before

Hey everyone! So I finally got the opportunity to do some research for the next year. I am waiting on my background check to process which will take around a week. I decided to include this activity in my AMCAS (listed as 0 hours completed), but since I haven't started yet I was thinking of just including a general description of what the lab focuses on and then updating schools later on with more specific details. Does this sound like a good idea?

2010 through around 2014 I was drinking about half a litre of vodka a night on the rocks to sleep while I was single. My libido was great though, and I'd happily have sex daily. I've never liked sex in the morning, and I prefer sex without alcohol, but it didn't really matter, I'd get the job done.
I would usually have sex 1-2 times per day for most of my 30's. Somewhere 2014 to 2017 I went on a health binge and reduced my drinking to 1-2 nights per week, though still heavy drinking.
However, some traumatic stuff happened around 2017 and that dropped me down to wanting sex only a couple of times a week. I've been drinking about half a litre of whiskey per night to sleep since then. My current gf says if the bottle is down around 1/3 I will usually go through a full half litre plus that 1/3 leftover that night. Blackouts or remembering large chunks of conversation are very normal. My B12 levels are fine, though I haven't thought to check my B1 levels. I take a B complex daily as part of my regimen.
Last year I had my testosterone levels checked and ended up on TRT. TST levels of 180 for those interested. The test injections pulled me out of depression and started giving me wood like a teenager again. My libido had improved but not crazy. I experimented with DHT/mast later and found my libido went through the roof, I experienced a sex drive higher than it was even as a teen.
I've been working on my health while still consuming vast quantities of alcohol. 77+ units per week in the evens is quite up there. ALT is down to 34 and AST is down to 52, so I think I've been doing pretty well for an alcoholic.
I have not had an AF day in years. Right now I'm on a very minor TRT dose (150mg/week) and I've been doing TSM for about nearly 3 weeks at 50mg an hour before drinking only. The first night I experienced terrible insomnia, and couldn't stop stretching. My joints kept feeling like I needed to squeeze something out of them.
Insomnia has persisted. I take nal around 5-6pm, try to consume 1-3 beers, and end up having 3/4 of a beer left next to my bed in the morning. I fall asleep around midnight, wake up around 1am, and can't get back to sleep no matter what I do. I'm fortunate that I can take naps during the day, and I seem to be able to clock 2-4 hours of sleep around 1pm. I assume the nal has mostly metabolized at this point so I can finally sleep.
I've been considering trying 25mg instead of 50mg to see if it helps at all with the insomnia.
Back to the libido situation, I went the first two weeks without any sex or masturbation. I tried cialis and DHT/mast as I know these work for me, but nothing. I had my first AF day quite easily around week 2, but the libido didn't return. I tried to masturbate, and although I could get hard, I couldn't ejaculate. The next day I was able to rub one out, but it felt like I had a UTI when it finally happened.
I'm now 17 days in, and have had 5 AF days which are also without nal. It seems I can't ejaculate within 24 hours of ceasing nal. Sex just feels horrible. On the second day it seems my libido is back a bit, but as you can imagine the sex isn't that great for my girl if it's been 5 days since and I've got a backlog ready to come out.
2 days of drinking per week (with nal of course) and 2-3 beers in that timeframe is what would fit my social lifestyle nicely. The problem is that puts me at what seems to be at least 4 days of insomnia, and 3-4 days of no sex drive per week. I'm normally quite the cuddler also, but nal kills that desire too. I can noticeably see my girl getting moodier with the lack of physical contact or orgasms.
Again, I'm considering 25mg or even LDN to see if I can do anything about these libido and insomnia issues. I was expecting to build some tolerance to nal by now and at least have my sleep return to normal.
Any suggestions out there for solving these problems? I tested out 20mg diazepam and 2mg clonazepam last week but that wouldn't get me past the 2 hours sleep mark. I'm trying 100mg modafinil today to try to make myself over tired at night, and this will likely be an AF day, although I'm feeling some cold sweats from withdrawal for the last few hours. So far only nal free seems to work for the libido, but I want to try playing with the dose as 17 days seems a tad long to still be struggling with it.
(Yes I know I sound like a walking lab experiment with everything I've ran through my body in the last decade)

Going to be a long post, will put a TLDR at the end, but want to be able to explain all my thoughts here and give a full backstory.
I've been interested in computers for as long as I can remember. My mother was a web developer, had her own server at home, and would push me to learn and research about computers myself to be able to gain that skill.
The first interest I had was when our Windows XP computer would no longer boot. Turned out to be because the drive was out of space, so I booted into a live Linux CD and wiped some files off the drive. Years later, I got into Minecraft and was introduced to Java, made a mod, and quickly decided I didn't want to ever do programming again. I was 12 years old at the time. I tried a computer science class in high school, decided I didn't like it either.
I was really good at troubleshooting issues and fixing computers, screen replacements on iPhones, basic IT stuff. I ran multiple Minecraft servers and got very used to JSON and YAML formatting, being able to understand documentation of plugins and being able to configure them properly. I was able to set up VMs and have a whole network of servers running for Minecraft manged in Linux and that's when I got introduced to infrastructure side of things.
I never knew what path to go into college for this stuff, was thinking hardware engineering since I wasn't ever good at programming, but later actually went into college for criminal justice, as I thought I wouldn't be able to succeed in a tech job without good math/programming skills. I was working at a pizza place for a bit, had way too hard of a work ethic for minimum wage, and was taking an IT class as an elective for college.
One of the assignments was to look on indeed and write about one of the job postings, and how we felt about it. I found a local job that contracted with Apple, they send their trade-in devices to them, we fix them, resell, and the cycle continues. I applied as a mobile repair technician, aced the interview, and was called backed with an offer the same day. I worked the pizza place and this for a bit, but started off as a mobile device auditor. I was freshly 18, management saw my work ethic and said that I was one of the best auditors they had seen - I was able to research problems with devices that they would usually need to reach out to Apple for an apparently this was a skill they just hadn't seen before. I was able to go through devices quickly and they moved me to the quality assurance team.
I was at that team for a few months, then they had begun a government contract to recycle/resell all of their e-waste. This included devices no one in the building had never seen, servers, switches, lots of IT specific stuff and generally unknown things. I was asked to run this department by myself, researching, auditing, repairing, and getting a basic value of the systems that came in. Up until this point I was a contracted worker, but then was offered a full-time position with the company, but was still getitng paid only $1 above minimum wage (which is pretty hard to survive on in California).
Two more people joined the government team and I trained them on what to do. Things I did included recovering Cisco switches via serial connection (government has their own software on them), repairing HPE/Dell servers, making documentation on proper e-waste disposal of the systems (they sent them to us with no GPU, RAM, CMOS connecters ripped from solder points, since they thought they held valuable information) soldering in new CMOS connectors on motherboards, they even trained me on the forklift to manage getting the pallets out of the racks and much more that I can't even remember. I was quickly realizing that the work I was doing was a lot for the amount I was getting paid.
One of my managers had told me that 3 of our employees quit and jumped ship to Intel for the better wages as contract workers. I looked on Indeed, found a position and applied. I got past the two interviews and was accepted for the position. I started off as a level 2 lab technician which included deploying pre-production hardware in server racks, building server racks for these machines, recovering them when they went down, and dealing with tickets assigned by Intel engineers. About 2 months into the job, one of the technicians got promoted to an Intel engineer after he got his computer science degree. He was a level 4 and the position was opened up and they wanted an internal hire to take the spot. My manager encouraged me to apply even though I was new, so I did. The interview consisted of two parts, the first was building a "PreSi" (pre-silicon) server from scratch and deploying it to the testing software. All we had to go off of was an outdated internal wiki page and our ability to research questions.
I was able to build the server and deploy it, I got a little help with some networking issues due to IT restrictions, but other than that was able to get it all done. We were timed during the setup and that was used as part of the promotion decision. The second part of the interview was an in-person quiz, asking us questions that we are allowed to google and use the wiki for. I plugged my laptop into the projector so that they could see my thought process. I got stumped on a few, but got the majority of the answers correct.
The next day I was brought into a meeting to go over the results, and my manager quickly told me that I got the position. I was surprised, as the other people who had applied had been working there for 3+ years, but my manager told me my research skills really made me shine. He said after the interview, him and the other person were so shocked they were just silent for a bit and the first words out of one of their mouths was "what the fuck was that" since they were surprised I did so well having just started.
Having this new position, my old position was now open and my manager had asked me for any recommendations. My brother was new to computers but I knew he was a quick learner so I got him a job too. He ended up starting as an infrastrcture techinican, which will come into play later in the story.
As a level 4 technicnan my main responsibilities was deploying PreSi servers and getting the more advanced tickets from Intel enginerring. This was a very tedious process, which included imaging a server with a USB, running a shell script, rebooting, then running various commands and registering/configuring the server on our internal software. The whole process from first poweron-active testing was about 1.5 hours. My manager had encouraged me to learn a little bit of Python, as our internal software has a REST API with Swagger documentation and a lot of the tedious tasks were part of that software. He also told me that I should switch my degree to computer science, as that will open my opportunities to much more job opportunties. I was hesitant, but decided this was a good idea. The next semester I was going to swap to computer science and start the major-specific classes like java programming and assembly.
At this time my brother had also been working in the Infrasturcture department (still only 2 desks away from me though) and was introduced to Ansible. One of the engineers told him that it would be a good idea to look into automating PreSi, as it had never been done and woud be quite the time saver. My brother approached me with the idea and at this point I had a little bit of Python experience (nothing more than editing pre-made scripts) and thought it might be a good idea. I wanted to make it as easy for our technicans to be able to use, so I thought of making a web-based program (like all our other internal software) and using a UI to run Python/Ansible scripts that would automate this process. I was talking about it with my brother and a level 2 technician overheard what we were talking about and asking if I could automate the pre-production deployment as it was also tedious web UI tasks that were repetive and time consuming. It also included adding our systems to NetBox and tracking them there, with a lot of settings on NetBox matching our internal software. After looking into the API documentation I saw it could be done and added it as an objective.
It took about 9 months, but after countless hours of research and reading documentation I was able to create a program that automated most of our common tasks, PreSi, and pre-production deployment. It used Python and Ansible for PreSi, then just Python for the other tasks. The PreSi deployment went to poweron-test ready in 30 minutes (which was only restricted by a job that had to be run on the server that took 25 minutes), pre-production deployment times were cut drastically, and our other common tasks were cut too. My brother and I presented our program to Intel mangement, they loved it, were very impressed and approved it for use. I got a $40 bonus for it, and my contract company manager was very apologictic saying that that's the best they could do, a little salty about that but it's okay I learned a lot from it. I'd also like to point out, this program was made just in our free time when we weren't busy from other tasks, and management didn't have any idea we were making it. I managed all of the Python, and my brother created the base Ansible for the PreSi imaging.
It has been in use for about a year now, unforunately haven't been tracking metrics on it (need to implement a tracking function but haven't had the time) but with the logs I have in place it has been used on 300+ systems since deployment. Back in January, I was transferred to the Infrastructure team as my brother told them I was getting bored of my job (I was, I felt I had learned everything I could for the tasks we were doing) and they were able to open a position for me. During my time in Infrastructure I managed live production Ansible inventories, created playbooks, edited playbooks, researched how to upgrade our extremely outdated systems, and got familiar with a lot of Ansible functions and basic infrastucture needs.
I watched a Zabbix dashboard, when we got a high severity alert I would be the first person to investigate. I was also expected to create Jira tickets and track what I was doing to make sure management could keep track aswell. Also dabbled in a little K8s, kubernetes, grafana, DRDB, mysql, gluster, and more I can't remember right now. Every day was a learning experience and nothing was repetivie like the lab technician position was. I was no longer bored with my job and genuinely enjoyed learning and being able to figure out all the issues that were thrown at me. I was the go-to API guy, figured out automating HPE iLO/iLO amplifier and creating github workflows to automate metrics collections.
Unfortunately, our lab suffered layoffs 2 weeks ago for the first time in 6 years. They got rid of 3 contract workers in our lab (of 7) and luckily my brother and I were spared. I was however taken off of the infrastructure team and put back into the lab team (deploying pre-pro hardware and PreSi). I'm hopeful that once I get a computer science degree (2.5ish years out) I will be able to move up to an Intel enginerring position with the impressions I've made with our management. I want to wait it out, but the problem is I feel that I am going to get bored pretty quickly like I did before in this position and want to be able to make a living, or at least some money, doing what I like.
I want to do side work, freelance, but I don't even know where to begin. I figure that if I can be at home doing somthing I like, I can wait it out at Intel doing something I don't like until I get a degree and (hopefully) get an engineering position. Since I'm currently a contract worker and I made that program in my free time without ask, that code is able to be publicly uploaded to Github according to my manager, given that I remove all company/internal software branding. I haven't had the time to go through all the code and edit that out, and I also don't know if it's even worth it since I don't know where to upload it to show my skills and get offers.
I'm looking for any advice from you guys on any freelance work I can do with my skills, or anything I could work on to try to improve my portfolio and make money with my skills. Going back to setting up server racks, moving servers, deploying pre-production hardware, when I have all these other skills just feels like a waste to to me. I know I'm capable of so much but just don't know where to look.

TDLR:
Currently working as a contract worker for a company, in my free time without ask created a Flask program that automated server deployment and pre-production hardware deployment with Python via REST APIs and Ansible, moved to the infrastructure department and got a taste of how fun it all is, moved back to my old department as a deployment technican and am lost on what to do with my skills. Don't want to get a whole different job since I feel I have quite the chance of becomming an eingeer once I get my compsci degree, but want to do freelance work but don't even know where to beging. Any advice would be appreciated and thank you for reading :)

For context. My daughter (5months) lives with me (22f) full time. Her father(25m) has not been an active part of her life since conception. We were together 2 years in a very very toxic (and sometimes abusive) relationship. We had 2 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy in the span of a year. When I got pregnant a fourth time I was understandably worried. So was her father. He refused to tell any of his family other than one of his sisters. I understood and we ended up having a huge argument when I was 8 weeks pregnant and we split up. I moved back in with my parents and we didn’t speak for months. I invited him to my gender reveal, sent photos of ultrasounds, updates on our very very healthy baby girl, and invited him to my baby shower (which ended up being canceled because I went into pre term labor which was stopped). He never responded to anything. The day she was born my sister called him to tell him that I was in labor and he said “cool good for her” and hung up on her. No one heard from him for 3 days. He messaged me wanting to see her and basically told me if I didn’t say yes he would call dss on me. As a first time mother I was terrified of having my child taken so I agreed. He saw her for about an hour (that’s all my parents would agree to because it’s their house) and then he left. Didn’t see her, ask about her, or contact me at all until a month later. He saw her twice between one month and 2 months old. Didn’t contact me again until she was 3 1/2 months old. He has been back in her life for about 2 months now and sees her regularly. He went with us on her first trip to the aquarium, went to the park with her for the first time, bought her clothes and toys, etc.
Two weeks ago on Mother’s Day we spent the day together as a family and then I didn’t hear from him for 3 days. He told me he was starting a new job so I figured he was busy. He called and asked to see her last Wednesday and never showed up. He called again Friday. Never showed up. Claimed he got called into work. He called 5 days ago and asked to see her and I told him I had to work and that she would be at the babysitter until I got off late at night so he could see her the next day when I was off. He agreed. I didn’t hear from him for 5 days. I was contacted by a friend of his ex (who is a meth and coke addict and has child abuse and child neglect charges) and told that he had been at her house for 5 days and was drugged out of his mind. She sent photos and videos of him doing drugs and telling everyone he was going to come to my house and take his daughter. His ex was heard in the videos saying she would unalive me and my family for it to work and they would skip town right after.
I texted him and told him he was no longer allowed to see our daughter and that I would be calling our caseworker and telling her the same and I would be happy to take it to court if he wanted to. He texted back 8 hours later telling me I couldn’t stop him from seeing her and he would “take me down” if I tried to keep him from her. He called me all kinds of nasty names and made me feel like a horrible human being. So far his mom(who has never even wanted to meet her granddaughter) his sisters and his brother have all texted me and threatened me or told me to unalive myself or called my daughter horrible names and said she was ugly and she was going to end up being a “retard” (I hate that word) with a mother like me.
Am I wrong for cutting him out of her life..? What do I do..? Please help…

We do have a custody agreement stating that he can see her twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) for 2 hours. But it must be supervised. He has not upheld that agreement in over 2 months now. He is also supposed to pay child support and we agreed that as long as his child support is paid he can see her but if he doesn’t pay it he isn’t allowed to see her. He hasn’t paid it in over a month and I continued to allow him to see her outside of his scheduled visitation days. I do have proof that he has been abusive, police reports I’ve made against him in the past, he has been arrested several times just for things he’s done to me not including his numerous arrests for drugs and violence against others. I also have videos of him on drugs, videos of him admitting to criminal acts, screenshots of everything, etc. all of that can be found listed in the comments section below. I have contacted our caseworker with everything that has happened and she is going to inform me Tuesday if he contacts her and she’s going to help me get an attorney and keep him from getting any kind of custody of her. He is currently living with 3 people who are all highschool (and in one case a middle school) drop outs and all have felonies. One is a registered sex offender, another has felony convictions for rape, possession of class A narcotics, assault with a deadly weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill (different occasion than the first assault charge) and the third has felony convictions for Child Abuse, Negligence of a child that ended in the child’s untimely and very sad death, rape, domestic abuse, 5 counts of assault with a deadly weapon. He himself has 13 misdemeanor drug charges as well as a felony charge for possession of class A narcotics over the legal limit and possession of stolen goods. He also has 3 counts of misdemeanor B&E and 6 counts of misdemeanor animal abuse and is legally not allowed to own animals in the state of Florida. As well as all the charges he got for what he did to me which were all misdemeanor charges. His girlfriend had all 3 of her kids taken because she was prostituting her oldest out to men on the internet, she physically and sexually abused both of her youngest kids, and she was charged with what my caseworker called “fatal negligence” after her 4th child died in a house fire last summer when the meth lab in her attic blew up and she didn’t even try to save the baby. Luckily the other 3 children had already been taken from her at the time.
I have no criminal charges, I’ve never done drugs (not even smoked pot), I quit smoking cigarettes and quit drinking 6 months before my daughter was born, I graduated highschool and have a business degree and I’m in school currently for a degree in psychology, I work 39 hours a week and my daughter has never gone without anything she needed and has been to every single doctors appointment and never had to have them rescheduled. My parents are both retired and have never had a single charge their entire lives. They have raised 3 kids and 5 grandkids and they watch my daughter when I am at work or school except for the one day a week she goes to a daycare for a few hours to be around other babies her age. She is clean, well fed, has brand new clean clothes. He has only ever bought her ripped or worn out clothing, the 3 nights he stayed with us I was extremely sick and my parents were out of town and he refused to give her a bath, make her bottles, or feed her baby food because he said he couldn’t stand the smell. He refused to change her diaper because he said he didn’t want her to pee on him.
This is not me trying to make myself look good. Just giving more info now that I know there isn’t a character limit.
