I've tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling the mods, verifying that the same mods launch on my PC, etc. The game works fine on my PC so I'd assume it might be a proton issue. If a proton log would help, lmk how to get it and I'll post it. I have the 64GB model then upgraded to a 256 ssd, but that shouldn't matter since there's no hardware differences. Literally any help would be useful, please feel free to make suggestions!!!

I need an advice what will be a better choice. Just ordered 64gb steam deck and want to instantly upgrade it, but i do have not such a big budget(around 50 dollars). Found some solutions to buy SD card for 512gb or add some more and get ssd 512gb. I`m really worried about lifespan of SD card. Thank you for attention.

2023.03.26 22:58 I_eat_naughty_kids How do I receive pictures over bluetooth?
It's an old phone so I can't install any app on it, so no othe roption than bluetooth. I managed to pair it with the steam deck in desktop mode, but all it did was playing audio from the phone on the deck. And despite of the deck set to accept files in the bluetooth settings, I still get an error on the phone when trying to send the pictures.

I have the Morrowind GOTY edition installed on the Heroic Games Launcher. I initially setup up everything to use OpenMW which was quite easy to do and it works fine!
However, I'm wanting to learn more about how Linux/Wine/Proton/etc work. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to run the "Morrowind Code Patch.exe" that I placed in the install folder Heroic created for me. No matter what I try I always get "Morrowind Code Patch must be installed in the same place as Morrowind"
Can a Linux veteran please explain to me what is going on? I've learned the following already:

- Everyone thinks you should just use OpenMW

We just recently released a game in which we tried to make it as much of a learning opportunity as possible, expanding on the "platformer" genre as much as we could. If we could not program it, we would do it as simple as possible and in a different way to cope with our former incompetence. The game is released on Steam and it is called "Shelltered". I hope you will check it out. This is a throwaway account as obvious by the name as we do not use social media, however, as we make games for fun (and try to be philosophical) we are about to release our second game which is a very fun game in our opinion. Maybe you can relate to being in the (DEBUG) a bit longer than you optimally should.
So we decided to tell you guys about it here, IF you guys enjoy watching videos, streams or anything like that then our next game might be for you as it will allow you to play it at the same time as you will be able to view what is behind it. It is especially difficult too, adjusted to our own personal liking so if you like that too, it is possibly a match. Hi, first off I wanna say that I got this game like 2 years ago on steam and I didnt have no one to play with at that time so I barely played any matches. Now I got into this game again and well even tho my gaming setup has "downgraded" to a steam deck and 20 dollar peripherals my skills in shooters have grown so Im debating on should I start like fully getting into this or no.
The main issue is that the community is kinda small and it seems that the player base has drastically dropped so what do yall active players think. Does the game get updated enough to keep it interesting? Is it fun alone? Are there any cheater problems?

I love a number of things, and hate very little. I'm fairly open to trying new things, but some of the things I enjoy are as follows. I love the outdoors. I've never been camping, but I would like to try it with someone some day. I also love to fish. I mostly fish salt water. I do occasionally fish freshwater though. I like to check out new spots around me, but I mostly fish on the beach. Do you like to fish? What are some of your favorite places to go?
I also enjoy the shooting sports. I primarily target shoot. I take part in a little bit of everything, including rifle, pistol and shotgun. It would be nice to find someone who is into shooting or would like to learn/become more familiar. If you shoot, what do you like to shoot mostly? What's been your favorite gun to shoot so far?
PC games are also a enjoyable pastime for me. I have a variety of games, most of which are on Steam. I have other games on various other stores/services. I enjoy a wide variety of different kind of games, so I'm sure we can find something to play together if you game. What are some of your all time favorite games? What are you currently grinding on that you can't put down? One hobby I discovered later on in life is Magic the Gathering. I probably would never have found MtG, if it were not for my best friend. I play both online on MtG Arena, and with physical cards. Magic has become something I am particularly fond of. Do you play any kind of card/table top games? What's been your favorite so far? If you play Magic, what are some of your favorite deck themes?
Music has always been a part of my life. My tastes are varied, ranging from country, death and black metal, electronic, classic rock, folk, pop punk, and more. Do you have a favorite band? What has been your favorite concert you've been to?
I'm honestly an ambivert. I enjoy doing things outside, as well as spending time indoors. I can veg out all day under the covers curled up in my bed, or I can take a trip somewhere and experience something new. I think my personality is a mix of the best of both worlds. What would the perfect day consist of for you?
As far as my personality is concerned, I would say I am fairly relaxed and laid back. I feel like I am somewhere in the middle between loud and excitable, and shy and quiet. Around people I don't know, I tend to be fairly quiet and to myself. In the company of someone who I am close with, I am more open and free. Do you open right up to people, or does it take a while to become comfortable with someone new?
All I hope for is a connection. It could be platonic, or it could blossom into romance, and commitment. I'm not putting a limit on what I am looking for.
With the prior being said, I am single. I may be interested in changing that with the right person. The idea of commitment excites me. Monogamy is appealing to me. Do you feel satisfied with your social life? What kind of connection are you looking for?

I can’t seems to find any exact info since it’s available outright on Steam but I am hoping I don’t have to rebuy it just to play on the Deck.

First of all, sorry if this is the wrong place for somthing like this, but just wanted to share..... IM A STEAMDECK OWNER!!!
I have been saving up for a while to get one, selling off my old consoles and games that I'm not using anymore, rather them played and not sitting in my house collecting dust!
I found a good deal on Twitter, 64gb model, 128gd Micro SD, this little Dock thing to attach it to the TV, all in amazing condition!
I saw you can upgrade the internal memory so the 64gb seemed OK to me
First thing I did was set up the N64 emulator to play the THQ wrestling rooms, spent a good few hours on that, but mostly spent time looking at the Steam library and making a list of games I want to buy (wish I knew about the wish list sooner lol)
Somehow I have State of Decay in my games list, which I'm over the moon about as I have always wanted to play that!
There's so many games I never though I would be able to play on a PC, and now this gives me the chance to do so! Emulation is amazing that it softens the blow of downsizing (not that I had the biggest collection ever)
Now I just need to save up some money and hopefully treat myself to a game once in a while! (And get my head around how all the emulator ls work, and some how get UFC 3 Undisputed working)
Sorry for the long nothing post, I'm rather excited and the steamdeck is on charge so my hands are free to just type and dribble out in the form of this post
Is there any games anyone can recommend that work really well on the deck? I'm into any and all games and willing to give anything a try!
Or anything else this machine can do?

I've just picked up a Steam deck during the sale. I decided to go with the 64GB version because I was planning to store all my games on an SD card anyway and thought to myself that I can always just upgrade the built in SSD myself. After owning the deck for a couple days now, I just don't see the need. Sure, it's only eMMC storage but why does that matter if my games are loading from an SD card anyway? It's running perfectly fine and I'm having no issues with shader caches either. Yet I've seen people here and elsewhere telling everyone to avoid the 64GB version at all costs?
I've even put a matte screen protector on mine so practically I'm not even missing out on the perks of the 512GB version.
