Okay, so it's fantasy booking time. We're on that time of the year again, where our imaginations travel and injuries hit. In the meantime, since we're almost in time for Dominion and AEW's major stories will be on hold for a while I thought of interrogating this reddit for having an idea of your Forbidden Door 2 card.
There's no rule in it: you can book MJF losing to Bolting Oleg if you want. The only thing is, try to explain it and to give it a sense, so it gets funnier than the average "oh, I want Okada vs Omega V because Meltzer is going to give it 8 stars and three quarters".

Pay attention, from here I will assume all the readers know it's spoiler territory, so PLEASE, DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOU ALREADY WATCHED AEW DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023 OR YOU DO CARE ABOUT BEING SPOILER-FREE ALL ELITE WRESTLING

Let's begin!
Opening Match: AEW World Championship - Maxwell Jacob Friedman (champion) vs "The King" Minoru Suzuki (challenger)
So, an AEW World Title match as an opener? You see, the thing I love the most about MJF is not the character, nor the wrestling abilities. It's his persona and the modernity he brings that makes me love the man. In his Media Scrum interview, he stated "NJPW is an indy". His persona clearly does not want to do the PPV, and so I want to give him someone who, since Inoki's death, is in 本体 (Hontai, NJPW Main Unit). And what a better way for the Toronto crowd to get in the mood, than give them singing 風になれ (kazeninare) for starters? Suzuki can work for 15-20 minutes once in a while now, however, I want this to be a 5 minutes thing where he cheats his way to the win.

2nd match: CHAOS (BISHAMON, Rocky Romero and Orange Cassidy) vs. BULLET CLUB (David Finlay, Clark Connors, KENTA & Chase Owens)
During the pandemic era, we had OC and Best Friends introduced in CHAOS by Rocky Romero. And with Shibata seamingly leaving LA Dojo and CC beating Young Lions and LA Dojo alumnis all around, there are two interesting matchups for this shakeup: azucar and 100 Proof, but most importantly Finlay and OC. They are both establishing themselves as fighters, but with two different attitudes. Having an exchange there would be incredible. At the end, BISHAMON win with Chase looking at the light.

3rd match: Champion vs Champion - Willow Nightingale (NJPW Strong Women's Champion) vs Toni Storm (AEW World's Women Champion)
The King of Sports introduced two female's titles among their collection. Given the fact STARDOM exists, given the fact for now I do not see a merger between the BUSHIROAD promotions, I also do not see Gedo wanting to give up on the idea that this is a NJPW only event. So, to me these titles are for US territory and for Special matches involving megastars during special events. I do not necessarily agree with this, but also the G1 Climax and the IWGP Heavweight titles were "special attractions". When it comes to this match, with Jamie in the box for a while, this is going to be another piece of the Outcasts vs. Homegrowns feud. Toni would win, setting up for another match for the STRONG title somewhere in the future.

4th match: Owen Hart Cup Finals - "Super Liger" Chris Jericho vs Hiromu Takahashi
Ok, when I thought of this match I said to myself that Y2J has to be in because he's one of the main pieces of the AEW puzzle, so I really do not see special events without him. So I booked a filler, something to get rid in case something cooler pops into my mind. Then I remembered Forbidden Door 2 is going to take place in Canada, so this became a must. Then I read Tony's idea to have Liger's involvement in the Cup. So this, from being an afterthought, has become a priority. Since AEW started, Jericho portrayed all his persona: he did the list, Lionheart, the Painmaker, the Ocho. How cool would it be to see Hiromu, who is beating all Liger's records, surpassing Super Liger?

5th match: IWGP World Heavyweight Championship - SANADA (champion) vs Darby Allin (challenger)
I will start by saying that I'm not that confident that we'll see this match happening. If Yota Tsugi is half as good as the guy I've see in RevPro, we have the reincarnation of Kenta Kobashi (I know, it's very tempting to rage at this, but their physical structure seems identical). So I want to be wrong. But picture this: SANADA's defenses are against a junior (although he's an iconic junior) and a graduating Young Lion. So somehow we have to establish him as a force, or we're having another transitional champion that is going to get racked by Okada for the next Wrestle Kingdom.
Let's take a step back and have a gemba walk on wrestling in 2023. To me, it has been the best year in wrestling in YEARS. We had NJPWxNOAH, All Together, two edition of All Star Juniors, Multiverse United, an awesome Wrestlemania Weekend for the US indies (I heard good things about WWE, but I don't watch it since more than a decade). We had Nakamura going back to Japan and Naito retiring Mutoh. You see where I'm going with this?
With Sting retiring and Muta gone I would love to see this match, with them seconding their guys. At the end, Darby takes the L with some MJF thing happening (now more than ever I'm convinced that Darby is dethroning Maxwell somewhere in the future).

6th match: NJPW STRONG Television Championship - Zack Sabre Jr. (champion) vs "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson Wheeler Yuta (challenger)
As an Italian from Naples, all I know is that when it comes to supertition, neapolitans are only second to the Chinese. So read the name you want, I'm not going to name Daniel Bryan in in this match. Let's say THE Forbidden Door dream match becomes a meme and we see Yuta trying to survive 15 minutes with Zack in the ring. Then, if the name in the strikesthrough is the correct one...

7th match: IWGP Women's Championship - Mayu Iwatani (champion) vs Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (challenger)
Dream match #7. I'm going to be hermetic with this. In my mind, this is the shocker of the night, with Britt Baker winning and holding "hostage" of the title in America and setting up Giulia vs Britt at WK next year. WOW.

8th match: NEVER Six Men Openweight Championship - Blackpool Combat Club (champions) & Shota Umino vs The Elite (El Phantasmo and The Young Bucks) (challengers)
Last year's FD saw great matches with an interesting card. We will never see it, but we expected the emancipation of Hiku Leo in his match with the BULLET CLUB. We received another match, with ELP "replacing" spiritually Kenny Omega. ELP and the Bucks have an almost unexplicable chemistry. ELP is half Marty Scurll, half Kenny Omega, and fits perfectly to the mold of a tag team who is as over the top as ELP is and can do comedy wrestling as well as fast-pacing action or storyline-driven wrestling.
While I was writing it, I changed the champions. Why? Because Kenny said he has one or two friends to call up for support. One is Ibushi, and we'll seeing him at Blood and Guts. The other is none other than ELP.
At first, this was suppose to have the current ones (Okada, Tanahashi and Ishii) in the match and something else planned for Mox. In my head booking, I would have had Tanahashi winning on NJPW STRONG Resurgence but that derailed. Anyways, BCC and Shota retains here, setting up El Phantasmo vs Shooter for G1.

9th match: AEW World Tag Team, NJPW STRONG Tag Team & IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships - WINNER TAKES ALL - BULLET CLUB Gold (Juice Robinson & Jay White) vs House of Torture
I am spending a few words here. We're setting up FTR vs. Juice/Jay in AEW. So, say goodbye to Aussie Open vs FTR 2 in NJPW. Hello, Bullet Club Civil War. We've been waiting one since Tama Tonga said "Who the f\ck is the Elite. huh?*" to Kenny and I guess time and place coincide now. It's time to have Jay winning everything, then having a megabrawl among all the members of BC.

10th match: Kazuchika Okada vs Hiroshi Tanahashi
Semi main-event. D*ckhead Okada does not care about Forbidden Door nor AEW. He just cares about being the best wrestler of all times and pushing wrestling to the next level. He did it by creating a gimmick-match only title, he did it by saying he wanted to be the Six Men Titles to be like a World Cup, failing again. At the change of the guard, Okada says to Tanahashi that it's time for a change. After the fall between Ishii and Tanahashi at Dominion, Okada says this is make it or break it for CHAOS. If he wins, Tanahashi must join CHAOS. If Okada loses, CHAOS must disband.

Main Event: IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship - Kenny Omega (champion) vs Will Ospreay (challenger)
Out of all the matches I do not want to happen, this is at the top of my list. I want Archer to win, my entire plans to change, keeping this dream that started a WK17 as long as I can. It is probably because my dad got diagnosed with cancer and I want stability in my life. I do not want things to end.
However, Kenny never had an "high rate" match in his home turf and it is time time for one. So LFG! Winner? Us.

A memorial/ eulogy for the very best, most loved & cherished friend that I've had in this lifetime, "Pookin".
Pooh was born during the first week of April in 2003.He joined our family in the 3rd week of his life when my younger brothers' teenage girlfriend of the time brought him home. We always celebrated his birthday on April 2nd.
Pooh's favorite thing in life was being outside during the short, non-winter period here in perennially frigid central Canada that usually lasts from the beginning of May until early October. He loved to roam & explore the 5 acres of rural land on the family farm we call home. He especially enjoyed smelling the summer vegetation, laying under the trees in the yard & having an occasional bite of grass.
For all but the first 8 months of his life, wherever Pooh went, he was faithfully accompanied by his life companion & soul-mate, "Little". They were an inseparable pair.
Pooh was never interested in catching mice, instead he preferred to come inside and enjoy a plate of chicken pate when he got hungry. He was a gentle soul.
Throughout the first 15 years of his life, Pooh was a thick, robust, lengthy & athletic guy that never once fell sick.In the final months of 2018 this changed.After dropping an alarming amount of weight in a short period of time, he was diagnosed with the deadly disease, hyperthyroidism. In December 2018-January 2019, we almost lost him.Pooh recovered halfway after being placed on daily medication which he required for the remainder of his life.The life expectancy for medicated cats with this disease is 2-4 years.
From the final quarter of 2018 until only 6 weeks ago, Pooh started each & every day of my life off by pushing on my bedroom door & walking up to the side of my bed, usually at sunrise, between 5-7am. He never said anything, he would simply sit there & stare at me until I either got out of bed or acknowledged him with a good morning, pat on the head.
For the 3/4 of his life that he was healthy, Pooh ate 2 or 3 times per day.After contracting hyperthyroidism, he required 8-12 meals daily just to stay alive.
Between the end of January 2019 & the last days of March 2023, Pooh had two more condition related episodes that required hospitalization, one in the summer of 2019 and then again in the spring of 2020. During the second of those, the vet recommended putting him down.Pooh & I disagreed with that suggestion. Instead, we went home, toughed it out & went on to experience three more summers & nearly three years of happy, major incident-free living. Plenty of chicken included.
Shortly before sunrise on the morning of April 18th 2023, Pooh passed away naturally at home in the company of his loved ones.He never gave up on life & we never gave up on him.
Thank-you Pookin for being the shining light of our lives for the past 20 years.Little & I miss you beyond words & we will never forget you.Nothing & no one has ever meant more to me than the two of you & the time we had together.

My girlfriend(25F) and I(24M) have been renting a semi-detached apartment in my university town. We agreed at the start that I would pay for a full month for the first month even though we would only occupy the place on the 15th and then we would vacate on the 20th of June as I did not know my final exam dates yet.
I have since learned that my final exam is on the 2nd of June and would like to vacate on the 3rd. I gave my landlord a months notice of our new leaving date. I don’t feel comfortable paying the full 20 days when we are leaving on the 3rd and she has actively been looking for new tenets to fill out spot. I’m even less inclined to pay the extra 17 days after the ordeal we’ve been through dealing with her.
The rent is on the expensive end for the town but we figured that it would be worth it as the place has a pool, garden, braai area, electricity and water is included, and a battery backup for the WiFi (we live in South Africa so we get 4-6 hour electricity cuts almost every day).
This would all be great if it wasn’t for our landlord. She’s an old lady but not suited to be a landlord, the house it starting to see signs of neglect as well as the garden, this has lead to the house wiring deteriorating and switches tripping all the time, the hot water sometimes not working, as well as a rat infestation that she will do nothing about.
Both doors to our apartment are sliding doors and have come off their railings/keep coming off no matter how many times we put them back meaning that we have been stuck in the apartment more than once with both doors jammed shut. She will also not fix these as they would be too expensive to fix.
We also found out the week after we arrived that the pool is used by a local swimming class for kids to learn how to swim most days of the week which means we don’t have access to the pool or most of the garden in the day.
The landlords dogs also bite and have bitten both my girlfriend, myself and pretty much all of our friends at least once (The dog isn’t big so for the most part we have been unhurt but he has left holes in clothing and a lot of sore ankles and feet) the landlady does nothing about this, and watches on without saying anything even when it happens right in front of her.
We could probably deal with most of this (probably not the dog biting) but as the price of the apartment is not on the cheap end I assumed that some of our rent money is meant to go towards upkeep of the property and apartment.
The worst is that the apartment is semi detached from our landlords with a door the she has the key to and keeps unlocked, in the first few weeks we moved in she let herself into the apartment multiple times or knocked and let herself in without waiting for a response and got angry at us when we confronted her about it, we have since pushed a heavy chair in front of the door.
We do not have a lease, this was okay because we only needed a short term rental as I only have 3 months left before the completion of my degree. This is also the reason that we haven’t just left as it is very hard to find a place to rent, let alone a short term rental in a university town in the middle of the year.
Should I pay the 17 extra days? Am I legally required to bearing in mind that no lease has been signed and the place is not as it seemed when advertised. Thanks

There's a saying in investing: "The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets." And at this point, you'd be excused for mistaking the red in Michael Harris's jersey is blood.
He was a 3rd round pick in 2019 and took the league by storm last season. He went 75/19/64/20/.297 in just 441 plate appearances, which is a 600-plate appearance pace of 102/26/87/27/.297. Only Adolis, Tucker, Semien and Julio went 25/25 last season (Julio did it in just 560 PAs!). Adolis, Tucker and Semien all hit .257 or less while Harris hit close to .300 and he regularly batted around that average in the minors so he appears to a plus in batting average where other 25/25 players fall short.
This led to Harris having an ADP of 31. That's expensive. He was viewed as a potential bust during drafts by many given that they didn't believe in his power with a 22.9% HFB. That's Kyle ScwarbeAustin Riley power. People were also concerned about his relatively high K rate (24.3%) compared to his low BB rate (4.8%)
And Harris doubters have been claiming victory given that he has been BAD this season. His 600-plate appearance pace is just 64/11/42/27/.180 (this is his "Blood In The Street" rate of "BITS" rate). If you go into the Daily Threads here, you'll see the blood in the streets.
But that's exactly why we should finally buy. You can buy him for almost anything.
First, let's talk about mindset. Part of the reason people are so upset with Harris was his ADP but that's not his fault. It's not his fault managers drafted him too highly. If his ADP was 100, the hatred would be much less. The truth is that his ADP is a sunk cost and irrelevant to his ROS production. Whether his ADP was #1 of #1,000, it doesn't change his ROS of production. Just forget that because it's irrelevant to his production.
One of the biggest complaints about Harris was his plate discipline and it was fair. A BB/K of .20 last season leaves a lot to be desired. You need to be extremely fast or extremely powerful or a strong combination of both to be successful with such a low rate (think a Mondesi/Witt/ Adolis kind of guy). But Harris has the speed for it. Even now, his BITS pace for 27 SB's. That would have been 7th most last year (tied with Trea). And he's not a zero in power (which we'll discuss later). But he's actually addressed this BB and K issue. His walk rate is up to 8.0% from 4.8% and his strikeout rate is down to 22.1% from 24.3%. His BB/K ratio is now .36... not bad at all. That BB% is actually average and his K% is only below average, not poor or awful. And remember, we’re seeing this improvement despite the BITS situation. Improvement to your BB and K rates isn't the sign of a lost cause.
Is his improvement shocking? No. He regularly averaged above 8% BB% ratio and a reasonable K rate in the minors. He's also just 22 now. His best work is likely ahead of him. And it's not shocking to see a player improve in the second major league season.
So one of the two complaints has been mostly resolved. That just leaves his power.
I'm not here to say he's going to regain his 26-HR power. He could develop more power since again, he's just 22, but he's currently not a 26 HR guy right now. But his current 7.4% HFB is pretty low.
He has mid-teens power based on the following:

• His BITS rate is 11 so even no improvement puts him in double digits.
  
• If ~45% of barrels are HR's, his pace last season was 19. Just because he overachieved by hitting 26 doesn't mean he should regression to zero.
  
• If ~45% of barrels are HR's, his BITS pace based on barrels is 17.
  
• In 2021, in 101 games, he hit 7 in AA at age 20.
  

He's not nothing in power. But who cares, right? He still sucks, right? Well, not for long.
The first thing that jumps out at you is his .216 BABIP. His career norm is around .330. And with his speed, a higher than average BABIP is to be expected. We should see a ton of gains here.
People complain he bats 9th but he batted 9th last season. Batting 9th might cost him an PA sometimes but he plays for the 4th highest scoring team in baseball, something that will get you more PA than playing for CLE or OAK and make those PAs more valuable. Batting 9th also allows him to bat in front of the best hitter in the entire sport. I'll take that batting spot over anywhere a guy like Vinnie P, for example.
Despite his struggles, he's still maintained his speed. His BITS stolen base pace is still 27. That's a plus category.
So why buy him right now? He hit a HR and stole base this weekend going 4/1/2/1/.333/.500 in three games. And he made this great defense play. People underrate how much the field impacts hitting. I mean, just look at Jazz's production this season while struggling to learn a new position. Harris is building momentum. Don't forget he was hurt early in the season. Sometimes it takes time to get going early in the season and sometimes it takes time to get going coming off an injury - he's doing both at once.
In summary:

• He's a 22 year old, high end prospect who has produced in the majors before.
  
• His season is just starting and he's coming off of injury so it's not impossible that it takes time to get going
  
• He had a good weekend, including a defensive play to give him momentum
  
• His BABIP also tells us he's going to get going eventually.
  
• He's been a plus in SB while being horrible. He should steal more when he gets on base more.
  
• He's improved his BB and K rates - a key argument against him coming into the season. He’s going to be plus in average.
  
• He's in a plus batting spot despite people thinking it's a minus. He plays for a high scoring offense. He should be a plus in runs like he was last season.
  
• His ADP doesn't matter ROS even though it impacts people's view of him
  

He's going to be a plus in runs, SB and AVG while being average in HR and RBI. And you can get him for basically nothing.
As outlined above, there's real reasons to buy, not feelings. But if you ask me my feelings, my feelings are simple: Buying Harris now is a league winning move.

We've talked to death about Cam Whitmore, Taylor Hendricks, Jarace Walker, and Ausur Thompson but something we haven't really talked about much is the possibility of trading back.
The truth is... we've got our star players already, Cade was taking 1st overall for a reason, and he averaged 20, 6, and 6 while injured this season. Ivey finished last season averaging 20.7 points and 7.1 assists over the last 12 games shooting 38.6% from 3 on 6.8 attempts per game. Duren nearly averaged a double-double while playing most of his games off the bench and shooting less than 6 shots per game, if Duren was in this draft class like he was supposed to he would be a top 5 pick.
The point is that we don't need to take a high-risk, high-reward prospect. A case could be made that the #1 need we have is depth, not star power. The only players on a rookie contract after this upcoming season is Cade, Ivey, and Duren. Getting multiple 1st rounders to fill out the roster may be better than just having #5, considering the salary cap makes signing numerous quality role-players difficult (on top of having to pay a premium in order for them to play in Detroit).
All that being said, I'm gonna commit the cardinal sin of NBA Reddit: proposing a hypothetical trade. I'm gonna try to be as realistic as possible while trying to make a good trade for us. So, we may have to give up more than you or I would want in this trade but that's just how the NBA is, I mean... remember when we thought we we're gonna get #7 for Jerami Grant? Anyways, this is the trade...

This is presented as a 4-team trade, but it's easier to understand as 3 trades in a row.
Trade #1:
DET sends: Isaiah Livers, Best of NOP or POR 2026 2nd, Best of NYK or MIN 2026 2nd, pick #5
DET receives: Rudy Gay (Salary Dump), Simone Fontecchio (salary dump), #9, #16, and #28
Rationale: Again, we give up more than I think we probably should because that's just what tends to happen in the NBA. Both Rudy Gay and Simone's contracts are 1-year deals so we wouldn't take on any long-term salary and we wouldn't have to extend Livers who may want more than we are willing to give.
Livers could be a solid backup for the Jazz. The 2nds could be used by the Jazz in future draft day trades, which are gonna happen considering how many picks they have after the Mitchell and Gobert trades. The reason the Jazz trade up is to get that high-risk, high-reward player we don't need. Lauri Markannen has already broken out as an all-star, and Walker Kessler looks like a future DPOY in the making. #5 could be a solid co-star for those two. This trade will also save the Jazz money which they could use to sign role-players. The Jazz were a play-in team for most of the season and this trade will help them return to the playoffs more than not making this trade.
Trade #2:
DET sends: Best of MEM or WAS 2024 2nd, Best of GSW or WAS 2025 2nd.
DET receives: Richaun Holmes (Salary Dump), #24
Rationale: This is a generic salary dump, the Kings love 2nd round picks for some reason and for every draft they have a couple (like #38 and #54 in this draft). Richaun Holmes could be a mentor for Wiseman and Bagley, or he could take over as the backup center. The Holmes salary dump will save them $12,046,020, not drafting at #24 will save them $2,244,300. Overall, assuming they decline Dozier's option, they will have around $39 million in cap space which they could use to re-sign Barnes to a $15 million per year deal and sign Naz Reid to a $12 million per year deal, which will leave $12 million to give Sabonis as part of his extension similar to what the Pacers did with Turner's extension.
Trade #3:
DET sends: Bojan, Burks, #24, #28, #31
DET receives: Bertans (salary dump), McGee (salary dump), #10
Rationale: Okay, this is a lot more than I think we should have to give up but again it's in the interest of trying to create the most realistic deal possible. Bertans and McGee's contracts aren't THAT bad, Bertans only has $5 million guaranteed in 2024-25, and McGee is only getting paid $6 million that season. Bertans is also a good enough shooter to potentially be a backup.
For Dallas, they get a proper 3rd option in Bojan, a solid backup SG in Burks, and 3 picks in the perfect range to draft bigs which they desperately need. Getting 3 rookies will definitely help them salary-wise as they will likely have to pay Kyrie a max to keep him on the team, and 2 max contracts on a team are hard to work around.
Overview:
We would have to take on a few salary dumps, but we would still have $12,421,395 in cap space. With that cap space, we could still sign a player like Donte DiVincenzo this off-season. We could extend Stew for $12 million per year and still have around $39 million in cap space next season (assuming the cap rises at the same rate next year). With 6 players on rookie contracts, 2 solid role players on inexpensive deals, and $39 million in cap space we would have a lot of options for that money.

Hey player 1st games. I don't know about the other countries but I know Americans as a whole and out of the 1000 people. I've talked to in the game. Only one person says they're definitely waiting for 24 to happen that being said. The rest of us are waiting to see if you're going to. Strip multiplayer away fbecause the only thing we've gotten out of the game is 10 to $20 skit's expensive battle pass $100 starter. Packs and a c*** tone of skins that everybody has bought. So you haven't shown us nice. We'll see it and that you're here for us the best way you can do that is to take the loss of revenue but keep the multi versus. Servers still online for multdeclare. Even if there's game breaking bugs at all back we will play through it and give good feedback. And so we will live the dream with you guys and feel the progression and the loyalty in the care and that you're willing to take a sacrifice. And suffer with us to to create a home in a long lasting game sporthat we can put our creativity into and release our stresses of life and have an escape. But please don't think that you can do anything after shutting the servers down to change. Everybody's Min does a hole because. If? You. Leave? On that. Note we're not going to forgive you. That we've bought and that will jog our memory's into the thought of ohh I remember this game that blew up and had everyone at the edge of there seats the whole beta wanting changes feeling included and really feeling like finally a game that's not going to do what most other games have done to us which is not show up for launch and yes even though ur doing it the right way and the other games did it the wrong way by stringing us along and not showing up that us Americans as a whole are going to undoubtedly not put the extra time into worrying if it's coming out in 2024 and rather just say good beta have fun and don't need to think about this game ever again cause there will be games popping up left and right and we'll even though we were going to stick with the game as long as u stuck it through and stuck with us and really convinced us we can share in your dream and all party's will benefit but odds are there will be a game just as appealing in what ever other category of multi-player video game and just sink out teeth into another video gaming company's dream that promises us the moon again until other wise and all the players dedicated and not dedicated will not return and u won't even have a chance to force people to return cause it will become so big in America cause u will not have anyone reciprocating loyalty commitment and backing each other up because u are deciding to not follow through on these things and keep saying how ur going to show us in 2024 all ur commitment and loyalty cause guess what no one's gonna take ur word for it and no one is not a single person I've talked to didn't say if the multi-player goes away until 2024 they will not even think about playing the game again and all those negative people spinning lies and false truths will sound more and more believable until boom there fully convinced and months go by of then reinforcing there conclusions and by the time 2024 hits anyone who didn't try the game will here horrible negatives and why the game isn't enjoyable and is a fail of a game and the only chance u have pf countering these nagtives and people fully believing how terrible the game is is to have it so they can try it first hand for themselves and like yes especially in Asian country's rather enjoy the lab and so do I but NO American is going to sit there and belive u and practice or what not for 2024 even though it's totally true u will be back in 2024 cause other gaming company's have ruined this strategy or relaunch already and were not going to take ur word for it and the absolute ONE THING U CAN DO TO NOT ONLY SAVE UR GAME BUT FORCE EVERYONE WHO QUITE BACK ON THE GAME IS TO OBVIOUSLY, "bro player first games" take the lose on revenue and keep the multi-player mode Normal teams and leave the rest for 2024 and let us feel the changes or atleast implement changes every month and a half or so so we can test them out ourselves give important feed back and MOST OF ALL U will be giving plenty of people a sports video game such as multiversus a place we can passionately release our day to day stresses and the ability to creatively express ourselves such as this game does at a time where we are worried about food debts and work and rather truelly were all going through a phase of suffering and DAMIT BROTHER PFG take the lose and show ur willing to not only suffer with us but to show ur willing to do what it takes and sacrifice as a strong leader would do yet be compassionate enough to let us share in your dream of creating this video game and that we are a part of it and even if it's just one small thing that u put in the game let's say cause u A. Thought it was a good idea and B. You trial tested it with us in multi-player and it was chosen to be put in the game and BOOM ull have such a hardcore dedicated trusting fan base its not even funny cause u will show that unlike 99.99% of all other gaming company's that u fully committed urself took the sacrifice for the better ment of both party's as a whole and stuck it through when times get hard cause lord do we as Americans know how even ur best of friends will become non committed and caring when the first sign of times getting rough is occurring!
Cause I'm telling you know that I've made sure also keep making sure on a daily basis and also can keep getting people back on multiversus cause I've changed the whole image of the game from stressful to enjoyable cause what we as Americans didn't realize is that this isn't even close to like other fighting games when it comes to mechincs and unlike all the other tons of fighting games like street fighter and mortal combat that instead of everything based on how fast u can click a button and at what time Americans are slowly starting to realize that if u play to the full 6 mins of a match and don't rush that instead of the them having to do like 10 hit combos up to blast zone and instead if u ride mvoes out and only pull back on ur character whe. The curvature of the angle ur going initially starts the down slope (cause knockback is a bar in the game and goes down when u use it and up when u dont) u will then have the ability to pull back and save urself without the green perk and even a the way up to 190 damage just like in 1v1 when people are fighting someone and they hit there kill shot that the opponite Jenks back immediately because a. U didn't save ur knockback other wise u for sure would of killed or gotten alot closer and b. The opponent saved his bar of lnockback reduction and now there's a whole another game to be played cause now if u have a close to full bar of knockback that instead of having to do a crap ton of not only attacks with ur partner but all the extra jumping and dodges into literally 2 of one characters move now kills at lowish damage 💔 and so u have to work through and not take off on us with this adjustment period and or at the very least FOR A FACT to be fair to player first games company and its partners the data on how many players and what image they have of this video game actually like and love the game because they were confused and everyone around then kept saying play faster play harder when it's the other way around its stay back set up and think through the whole match and out smart ur opponite and use the whole map to ur advantage cause iany map is pretty big and that will take atleast this next 30 days and add on 2 more months with that atleast bare minimum because other wise u will not know all of our true opinion of the actual authentic game and how it was supposed to be played. Because again ur being grouped in truelly and sincerely and everyone around them is trying to convince that game is played all quick and such and so how can u build a game and take our feed back if others have tainted the experience and thought process on how the game Is played and then come out with a better plan cause if that's truelly the case and that's what ur saying is still u can bring a better game in 2024 even with all the data u have ATM because for a fact that %100 confirms u never intended on taking our feed back in America seriously and we will keep this realization mainly to ourselves and so even when people someone what play in 2024 like u say in the back of there mind they will have any and all other internions besides loving supporting and sticking with this game and it will truelly live up to what people keep saying its a dead game and then good luck ever releasing this game or another and the public embrace it cause they won't like u have been put in a serious position because of not staying in constant contact and not personalizing your communication with this ub reddit especially and every where else and so just like they teach in Russia u have to come to a forced conclusion and many will have enough evidence and proof/hints that basically ur a bad company out take our money and we can't wait in 2024 to get u back for what u did and also through it 2023 leading up to release in 2024 u are going to have any and everybody talking to other people about how tragic and crap and broken and unfixable and a scam and the owner just says he is committed to the people except he didn't stay really in contact at all with us all along and also just kept saying he was committed and just waif till 2024 when we've been trying our hardest to give feed back and work with u this entire time and u chose to close online server to save money that I know for a fact the millions of players bought atleast on 10 dollar skin if not more and ur telling me u want us to believe u cannot keep the servers open? Some things have drudged up from my past and have been making me feel sick. Currently a mid 20s guy, this stuff happened from ages 12 to 15-16. I am not a troll or anything, just a really messed up person in search of help and trying to get better.
I didn't have the best home life, but not the worst, either. My parents were often verbally abusive and manipulative towards me. They were not super violent towards me, but were towards my older sister which had led me to never really feel safe or like I could talk about a lot of things with them due to how bad they treated her (they were also very mean to me, but again, verbally not physically). I have never been SA'd or anything like that, which makes this even harder for me because then maybe I'd have an excuse/reason as to what I did, but I don't know, it's not really excusable.
I live in the rural midwest with a very conservative Christian family. I never had the sex talk and had discovered everything I know about sex through porn when I was 11 or 12. I was very sexual and horny as a teenager (still am, but I'm working on being healthier in that regard and have made considerable progress). I ended up becoming addicted to porn at a young age and still struggle with it, albeit no where near as bad as it was from the ages of 12-16. I watched all kinds of messed up porn trying to get off (beastiality, extreme pain, etc. Whatever I found while browsing the internet).
I live with some farm animals and had grown up with them all my life. I tend to genuinely love animals and would never want to hurt them or cause them any harm (which is partly why I am so ashamed and sick of what I did). I do not consider myself sexually attracted to animals and never have been.
When I was around 12, I would go out to the barn to masterbate as it was the only place I could do so privately. One day, while masterbating, my dog came up to me and started sniffing my penis, and licked it a few times. I had never thought of acting out the porn I had saw, but when she did that it felt really good. She quit and I left it at that for a little while. She did it again one day and I put my penis inside her mouth, but she didn't like that so I stopped. One day shortly later, while she was on her back, I fingered her vagina out of curiousity. She didn't seem to like it but she also didn't seem to not to, but after a few moments I stopped and felt really bad about it.
I had quit doing anything for a year or two after that with animals. I felt gross about what I did, but I didn't really think much of it other than the occasional shame at the time. One day, I was brushing one of our horses, and when I got towards her rear, I saw her vagina and was curious, so I fingered her. She lifted her tail and didn't move or anything, so I continued for a minute and then stopped because I felt gross about what I was doing. Since this post is getting long, I will make the long story short (and since I imagine none of you want to read anymore about this messed up stuff), I ended up having sex with the horse 5-10 times from the ages of 14-16ish. She was pretty neutral about it but didn't seem to really care one way or another (I feel like I'm trying to justify this by adding these details, but I am not. I just want to make clear that beyond the sexual stuff, I didn't want to hurt them, but only later came to realize that I really did by being sexual with them).
I remember after the last time, I broke down and balled because I felt (and still do) like a monster, which I mean I am, look at what I did, how can you justify any of this? I swore I'd never do it again and that I'd quit watching crazy porn and so much porn. I have not done anything with an animal sexual again since then and I never, ever will. While I still watch porn, it is much less, and much healthier (if porn can be healthy), than it was at that time. I haven't watched anything remotely extreme to that stuff since then (I immediately quit watching the beastiality porn that day as well). That guilt ate me up for a while, but I eventually managed to suppress (or repress, I'm not sure which one) the guilt, shame, and memories of what I did.
It wasn't until a year or two into college that I discovered I had suffered from persistent depressive disorder since I was about 8 years old by a phsycologist, and this diagnoses was confirmed again by my current psychologist. I discovered it for other reasons than this.
I started therapy this year, and I am actually growing comfortable with my therapist and feel like, while slowly, I am making real progress. I go once a week if that is relevant. My diagnoses with PDD was confirmed again by my therapist, but I was also diagnosed with major depressive disorder and possibly some form of PTSD, though the PTSD is not confirmed so I won't say that I suffer from it until I get officially diagnosed.
I actually think my therapist and I are a good match when it comes to my depression and current life problems. My last session was very emotional due to a lot of stuff that has happened in my life in the past year (losing my best friend of over half my life who was like a brother to me because he has severe mental health issues of his own that he refuses to work on, which is part of what led me to seeking therapy, etc.). She even went an extra 20 minutes or so over our time which I really appreciated because I was an emotional mess.
My problem is, I'm worried if I can or should tell her this. It hasn't really crossed my mind for years until yesterday, but now all the shame and guilt has come back to me. I'm worried about having this stuff on an official record, but it would probably be best if I did, because I'm an animal rapist. I'm worried that she will decide that this is too much for her and end seeing me, which I don't want because I am starting to get comfortable enough with her to begin actually opening up and trying to get better and making progress, but I'd also understand why it would be too much and would not blame her if she felt that way and ended therapy with me. I'm also worried about being reported to authorities, but again, I'm conflicted, because what I did was so messed up and I'd deserve whatever punishment I got. My family still has the dog and horse, both still interact with me and don't seem to remember what happened, which makes me feel terrible the past few days remembering all this. My dog is my only friend right now and I love her, but I don't feel like I can ever have animals again or deserve to be around them after what I did.
I know I'm a messed-up monster, but is this something I can or should talk to my therapist about? Or am I better off taking this to my grave? Is there any redemption or forgiveness for me? I don't really feel like there can be, nor do I deserve it, I'm a pretty messed up guy, but this is starting to eat me alive, which I suppose I deserve. Will my therapist have to report me to the Sex Offender Registry or law enforcement? Should I even be concerned with that since I probably should be?
It's not who I am now, but I did these terrible things and deserve the shame and guilt that comes with them I suppose. I'm just a mess right now (I guess I always have been though lol, I mean if you've made it this far, you've read the post). I really felt like I was making serious progress after months and months of consistent and hard work in therapy, but I don't know anymore. How can I continue to make progress with this hanging over my head and being a part of my past?

TAG Heuer Releases A Trio Of New Monacos With Skeleton Dials Ahead Of The Big Race
Hey, thanks a lot TAG! The exact second I sent out the Friday edition of It’s About Time they decided to announce a new watch. And not just any watch, that I would be cool with waiting until Monday to write about it. It is a trio of new and very different TAG Heuer Monaco Skeleton Chronographs, one of the first times they put a skeleton dial in the Monaco, but it’s also a release that coincides with the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. So here I am, writing about it after the race is over.
Never mind, it’s still a nice watch. Excluding the V4 editions that had a different case and was driven by belts, a unique piece in carbon made for Only Watch 2021, and the very exclusive “Riviera” edition, TAG Heuer has never made a production Monaco with a skeleton dial. And looking at these watches, it looks to have been a mistake on TAG’s part as the watches really do look fantastic.
The base dimensions of the watch remain the same - 39mm wide and 14.7mm thick, but not much else is the same. The case in the skeleton model is made out of sandblasted titanium to make it much lighter. While I see why some people would want that, I adore the weight of the original model. You know when you are wearing one.
TAG calls this watch a skeleton, I described it as a skeleton but it, in fact, is not actually a skeleton watch. It would more appropriately be described as an openworked Monaco, as it has a partial dial that reveals a slightly reworked movement. But even as such it looks great - all sharp lines and angles. The watch comes in three editions - Original Blue with an untreated titanium case, blue dial, white and red accents and a blue strap; Racing Red, an untreated case, black dial with red and white accents and a black strap; and Turquoise, with a black DLC coated case, a black strap, a black dial with turquoise-coloured accents and sub-dials, a colour also being sported on the column wheel and rotor.
Inside is the familiar Calibre Heuer 02 with some slight improvements, with an 80 hour power reserve. Apart from the colors, all the straps are the same, a mix of rubber and leather with a titanium folding clasp.
All three are part of the regular collection and are not limited. The Original Blue and Racing Red editions are priced at CHF 10,500, and the DLC-coated Turquoise edition at CHF 11,000.

Aquastar Revives Their First Dive Watch With The Model 60, The Most Classic Of Skin Divers With A Great Price
We are in the golden age of brand revivals. Aquastar, for example, was founded in the early 60s in Geneva by Frédéric Robert, a diver, sailor, pilot, mathematician and watchmaker after Robert took over his fathers watchmaking business JeanRichard. Over the next ten years, Rober filed a number of patents that are still relevant today, like inner rotating bezels, multiple dive decompression bezels, a new crown sealing system and the friction bezel ring…
When Robert retired, the brand was bought and sold by a number of companies and ended up being revived in 2020 by Rick Marei, who is known for building up Doxa to the powerhouse it is today. And ever since then they have been putting out fire releases. Their newest one is the Aquastar Model 60, which brings back the brand’s first-ever diver with modern specs.
All of the modern releases from Aquastar have been based on the Deepstar, but the Model 60 gets a completely new case. It’s based on the original Model 60, introduced in 1957 as JeanRichard7s first diver with a water resistance rating of 100 meters, and it was seemingly the earliest watch to use a skin-diver-style case. The Model 60 is also famous for being worn by Don Walsh to the bottom of the Mariana Trench while inside the Trieste submersible.
The stainless steel case of the Model 60 measures 37mm wide, 47mm lug-to-lug, 11mm thick and with a 19mm lug spacing. Speaking of the lugs, the watch comes on a tropic strap and can be had with an optional beads-of-rice bracelet with a safety clasp, or a nylon strap. Water resistance is 200 meters, and the sunburst-finished steel bezel is bidirectional.
The dial is what you would expect from a vintage diver - black with printed white minute track and hour markers, filled with “Old Radium” Super-LumiNova. The hands are the same as the Deepstar aside from the addition of a central seconds hand with a lume pip. Inside the watch is the La Joux-Perret G100, which features a 68-hour power reserve and is adjusted to four positions.
The Aquastar Model 60 will be a regular production model for the brand, and will not be limited. The Model 60 will start at $990 and rise to $1,290 at some point. The bracelet will cost an extra $159. Also the first 100 buyers will get a liquid-filled compass that can be attached to either a Tropic or nylon strap. However, considering the amount of press this watch has gotten over the weekend, I imagine they sold the first 100 already.

The New And More Compact De Bethune DB28XS Starry Seas Is An Ode To Calm Seas
De Bethune watches are really something very special. The DB28 line especially. The floating lugs, delta-shaped bridge and crown at noon all give it a very futuristic look while remaining supremely elegant. The newly introduced DB28X Starry Seas takes all of these traits and gives them a huge makeover, despite looking practically the same - it shrinks it down radically to 39mm and gives it a beautifully serene blue dial with a world-first random guilloché pattern designed to evoke a starry sea.
The DB28XS is not only the smallest model in De Bethune’s family but inherits the slimmer, more stylised profile of the DB28XP models. With its diameter of 38.7mm (down from almost 43mm of the DB28) and thickness of 7.4mm, this petite newcomer is small and slim but also light, thanks to the polished titanium case.
The dial, which relies on a heat-blued titanium base that De Bethune has become known for, is decorated with the world’s first random guilloché pattern invented by De Bethune. Whether this means that De Bethune invented a random guilloché pattern or whether it is the fact that De Bethune has applied a random guiloché pattern to a blued titanium base needs clarifying. But there’s no denying that it’s a beautiful dial, as the wavy pattern is interrupted with sprinklings of white gold that mimic stars. A silver-plated rounded chapter ring bearing transferred Arabic numerals for hours and a blue dotted minute track frames the wavy dial. Time is indicated by two custom-made and hand-polished titanium openworked hands.
The watch comes on a supple dark blue alligator leather strap with light blue top stitching and a titanium pin buckle. De Bethune have not said whether this will be a limited model or when it will be available, but it’s expected to retail for CHF 77,000, excluding taxes.

Alpina Has A Very Interesting Startimer Pilot Heritage Manufacture
Alpina is really starting to annoy me. I don’t want to take them seriously, on account of the name they share with the people that make my skis, and I’m not a huge fan of a number of their watches. But every now and again, they release a watch that’s just so great… Wait until you read all the specs and the price of the newly introduced Aplina Startimer Pilot Heritage Manufacture, an attractive vintage-inspired pilot’s watch.
The barrel-shaped case measures 42×40.75mm and lacks traditional lugs, with the strap going deep into the brushed case, with a crown at 4 o’clock. The dial is splendidly simple, with a deep blue color, a white minute track and beige luminescent hour markers. The rectangular hour and minute hands get the same beige lume. You can get it on a very vintage brown calf leather strap with white stitching.
But what’s really special is what’s inside the watch. A number of Alpina watches have had third party movements, but this one gets the AL-709 in-house calibre, an automatic movement presented in a becoming golden hue. Visible via an exhibition caseback, the movement at first glance resembles a manual movement due to its oscillating mass sharing the same golden tones as the automatic device bridge and mainplate. Subtle graining, blue screws and perlage are all augmenting the model’s overall appeal.
But what makes it even more special is the availability of 188 pieces and the price - just €2,850. And now this presents me with a question. This is obviously a very attractive watch - it looks great, has a good size, has an in house movement and does not break the bank, while still being limited which should, in theory, increase its desirability. I only now found out about the watch from the article in Escapement. In fact, this has been available since January. Why hasn’t it sold out yet? Is it just not attractive enough? Is it the name? It can’t be the value for money, or am I mistaken?

Respected Independent Watchmaker Andreas Strehler Launches New Brand And Watch With The Strehler Sirna
Andreas Strehler is one of those watchmakers that is a leader among independent watchmakers and for good reason. He has mastered everything from fabrication to finishing, but then would not budge from the polarising design of his watches that many argue kept a lot of customers from him. And I love when someone is so stubborn. To be clear, his previous watches were not ugly monstrosities. They were elegant timepieces marked by a distinctive papillon, or “butterfly”, movement architecture and resulting cushion-shaped case, and Strehler has become known as the independent watchmaker’s watchmaker, having developed the HMC 341 perpetual calendar movement for H. Moser & Cie and the Dragon Lever escapement for Precision Engineering.
Stehler has now decided to expand to a wider audience and has launched a new brand known simply as Strehler, which aims to reach a wider audience with more accessible designs and prices. The brand’s opening act is the Sirna, named after the town of Sirnach in northeastern Switzerland where the manufacture is based.
At launch, the Sirna is offered in a single reference that features an elegantly proportioned, 40 mm steel case with a concave case band and ergonomically formed lugs. The crown is inlaid with a blue titanium disk that features Mr. Strehler’s signature Papillon logo. The patterned dial is also titanium, anodised in a beautiful blue. Designed by Eric Giroud, each dial is machined and laser-engraved before being individually hand polished.
But what’s really special is what’s inside - the in-house SA-30 movement that has some of the highest quality finishings at this price point. For example, the movement has an in-house gold rotor and ball-bearing rotor mount. Most brands, even those in the so-called “Holy Trinity”, typically outsource the production of rotors to a specialist.
The architecture of this 30mm calibre stands out with a series of circles for the bridges and the openworked rotor that match the curvature of the case. The large, free-sprung balance beats at 21,600 vibrations/hour and boasts 60 hours of power reserve. The decoration of this movement is refined, with hand-chamfered bevels, circular Geneva stripes, graining and circular-grained wheels, all channelling the movement’s elaborate design.
The Strehler Sirna comes on a supple brown calfskin strap with off-white stitching. The steel pin buckle is engraved with the brand’s logo. The price is set at CHF 20,000 (excl. taxes), which seems fair for an “independent watch” of this level. The watch is not a limited edition, but the production capacity is expected to be around 30 to 50 watches per year maximum.

The Sofia II from Axia Time — high style with some substance
The Sofia II sits somewhere between a dressy and sporty piece, and Axia has sized it accordingly. The diameter of 40.5mm and lug-to-lug length of just under 48mm is a good fit on my 17.75cm (7″) wrist. It perhaps looks even larger than that due to the all-dial design and large polished lug facets. The combination of titanium, a thickness of 10.5mm, and lug tips sitting slightly lower than the case back all help the watch to sit securely and wear comfortably. But this leads to another dichotomy.

We had talked with a couple who we’ve dealt with before. Told us they were coming to our town for some event that was held there and definitely would love to play. They showed pics and we chatted. Their hotel was only 5 minutes away. Absolutely no reason why they couldn’t have us over. Everything was very enthusiastic and about the day of they never told us their room number, dropped out of the kik chat, and just disappeared off the face of the earth. A month later they were making their rounds on kik and messaged us saying that they thought we weren’t all that serious about playing because of some words said about my wife not feeling well or something. Anyways we bring them back into our group chat that we have with a bunch of other couples who are like us and within our geographical part of the country. So we have some extremely difficult to get tickets to a very popular event and they so want to go because it is in their town. They are extremely enthusiastic and excited at the event and the foursome. We are excited too! We both are sending pics and videos to each other and we even exchange phone numbers! A few days before they start doing the same stuff and leaving kik again. They won’t answer their phone, texts, or kik. We ended up giving their tickets away (we could have sold them at a high price as these things were going for), but instead we found someone who actually wanted to go. Anyways, we’re now at the point of never ever giving flakes another chance. We are more than aware that there are guys who wish that their wives would do this with them and just pretend, but this nutcase takes it as far as he can before chickening out. Never give a flake a second chance!

My roommate been using my car for free only paying for the gas they used for months, no help in insurance, parking fee, or upkeep of car. It was only suppose to be for like 3 months but its been about 7 months now with no sign of them getting there car the said they were suppose to buy.

Found out this month they were late on rent the last 3 months incurring fees and this last month didn't even pay rent until the 20th. So the apartment had started the eviction process, which BOTH my roommates knew about and decided not to tell me (which I could have paid the remainder and could have made it a interest free loan to them if asked at the time.) My good credit score was used to get this place and my family was the cosigner. I didn't even find out until after the 20th only cause a lawyer contacted me directly about such. (and to my family which lead to very upset family calling me panicking.) I always paid my money to the others to pay the rent on time since the apartment only takes the whole payment we can't just pay our segment so I had NO CLUE this was happening. Thankfully since they at least paid (very late last minute possible) we aren't going to get kicked out (this time) but I am now very paranoid. All of our names are on the lease thankfully and my current plan is to leave ASAP once lease is up now in November.

They were suppose to be my friends and lured me away from my home to another state claiming such. But haven't acted very friendly towards me in months and what little moments I would feel like I forced they seemed like they weren't happy around me and I don't ask for much maybe playing a game online sometimes or a meal together. Mostly it only be me tagging along when they go shopping to save on gas and trips. (and even then the roommate using my car barely never really did when asked and they use to be my 'best' friend before we moved in together... its like day and night difference.) I already felt like I was used by them to even get this place... (they did not inform me HOW TERRIBLE there credit was until I was there I was the only reason they got this place) but tried to shake it off. But now I can't seem to justify calling these people my friends... so I see no need to limit my own freedoms and movement for someone who would treat me such way. There job is only a 5 minute drive away (20 minute walk?) so easy enough to walk so I am not depriving them of access to work.

this is my first story on NoP and hopefully my first good one, excuse the dates, i just put the date i went to the fair i describe in the story and put it in the year the main story takes place, for reference this is meant to be before the bombs dropped.

As My exchange partner and I stepped out of his house and into his car I was quite unenthused about where we were going. We were headed to a steam fair, yes an actual real life steam fair, this is something a yotul would enjoy, and I was no mere uplift.
[2 hours later]
It took half a spheking paw to get here, ugh, at least it was a chance to listen to more of that wonderful, though oddly named, human music, of the metal genre, my current favourite song being full circle by Five finger death punch, an odd and very predatory name, but it seems the same is true for a lot of human music. As we pulled into the seemingly random field there was an old man, in what my human had told me was a hi vis jacket, making strange hand gestures at us that my human somehow understood, we drove into another field, this one full of semi orderly rows of many different types of cars, we then got out and walked through the long grass towards a green booth of some kind in front of a small also green bridge, there were two middle aged human women in the booth, after my human paid £10 we were allowed in, at first it was less than impressive to our left was a man in an oddly coloured suit and purple top hat on a large stage, in front of us was a large empty area fenced off with rope, and many older vehicles were off to our left along with some “bouncy castles'' as my human had explained to me before and several stalls selling various items.
We went over to the left, past the stage and several food stands that smelled absolutely incredible, we made our way to a large horizontal wheel that suspended five other horizontal wheels that each had three sets of seats suspended from them, my human decided this would be a good way to “break me into it”, I decided against pointing out the very predatory language, and agreed to go on, my human gave the ride operator £3 and we both got on, my human being the bigger of the two of us had to sit next to the padded wall likely to reduce the effects of inertia, after a short wait for it to fill up, the ride started to play some music and slowly spin each the top one spinning the opposite direction to the others, the ride slowly got faster and after about a minute the operator announced, over the PA of the ride,that it was “time for turbo mode” and to “squish your partner”, and so I did, I allowed myself to slide across and bump into him at speed, I hit him harder than I intended, and apologised, he said nothing and simply pushed against the centrifugal force pushing us into the padded wall and moved us both to the opposite side of the cart, and laughed saying that he barely felt my impact “of course you didn’t, you have the most messed up physiology I have ever seen” I laughed out smiling in spite of myself.
After the ride stopped we moved past a giant vertical wheel, that my human called a Ferris wheel, and a large tower with a slide running around the outside, called a helter skelter my human said, and on to what my human said was one of his favorite rides ever, the swinging boats, from where we stood they looked quite tame, something was wrong, my human was an “Adrenaline junkie” as he and several of his friends had called him, meaning two rectangular boxes with seats in them just hanging there was clearly not all there was to the first steam powered ride I had seen at this steam fair, as we ascended the stairs to get on I saw an old man in amongst many valves, levers and gauges, my human paid the man £3 and one other person was on the ride with us, we were at one end and she was at the other, she smiled at us and laughed at my concerned face after my human gave some obscure hand sign, I should really learn the human hand, face and head language, just then I noticed a sign that read “all riders do so at their own risk” I was now very worried, I didn’t say anything though as I knew that my human would never intentionally endanger me, just then an ear peircing screeching sound started, causing me to Jump in fright, we were then told to hold onto the netting behind us and put our feet on the bench in front of us, then the box we were in started to swing, and I realised what they would do, after about [20 seconds] we were swinging so far that the box, or boat as my human had corrected me several times now, went from horizontal to vertical, with every swing, my human and the other one on the ride were smiling and laughing with each other while i firmly closed my eyes, my human noticed my discomfort and spoke, as softly as he could to be heard over the sound of the rushing air, comforting me and making sure i was ok, and trying to lighten the mood with a small joke here and there, eventually I felt brave enough to open my eyes and see the open sky on the other side of the netting, then we swung back and i was looking down at the human female smiling comfortingly at me, then i felt the air rushing in my face as we swung back and i couldn't help but bleat in surprise, this caused both humans to “awww” simultaneously quickly followed by the human female saying “jinx” and them both laughing, this time i joined in too.
About a minute later we were off of the ride and i felt like the ground was moving under me for a few seconds after i got off, right next to the boats was a small booth with several confectionaries on the rear wall and several very old looking weapons on the counter, there was a human mother helping their child to aim one of them at the confectionaries and then a small pop was heard as a cork flew from the end of the weapon and i saw a small pink cuboid with a green being called a dragon(that looked like if someone recoloured an Arxur and made it more square) on it, labelled “CHEWITS” fall backwards off its shelf, the woman running the stall then collected the tube from the trough at the bottom and passed it to the child who ran off happily, with his mother in tow. My human decided to challenge me at this game, I foolishly accepted and quickly wasted £15 of my human's money to only glance at a very large tin of biscuits, my human on the other hand had hit all bar 1 shot and we now had several boxes of confectionery.
The next ride we went on was called “THE SUPER SKID CARS” according to the sign above the ride entrance. My visual translator had a hard time with that one due to the very odd font. My human said he used to love riding these with his mum when he was a child, and that he was somewhat surprised such an old machine was still in service, (frankly I was surprised any of these machines were still in service at all). My human told me that these were a precursor to “waltzers” and said that based on my reaction to the boats it may be for the best if i watched first, i agreed, as my human was about to get on, he saw one of his friends, she was called Summer and she was a very lovely person, once you got past her shell of self loathing depression and their exchange partner, Janak was her name, after the two of them had hugged, we collectively decided that the humans should go on and we would watch to decide if we wanted to join them the second time, so my human and Summer went on together, the ride worked by a large central wheel spinning with several carts facing inward being pulled around by it, with a break pedal that would slow the cart enough that it would rotate about its hinge to the point that it was facing the direction it was traveling, when you then let go of the break it would fling the cart around at high speed to face the other way and repeat, all the while a human song was being played quite loudly, the one playing while our humans were on was dancing in the moonlight, our humans were singing along, and quite loudly, until the ride sped up causing summer to scream slightly and then laugh with me,Janak and my human , as they were flung so hard that they bounced back and forth several times, this continued for a little while more with Summer squealing in delight at every swing, my human singing and laughing along all the while.
After summer got off we all walked back around to the food stalls, where Janak and I had the leaves of a lovely vegetable called a lettuce, according to Summer, slices of a purple vegetable with white stripes in rings through it, called a red onion, according to summer, this prompted me to ask why it was called a red onion if it was purple and white, both humans looked at me and laughed at that, before my human said “sometimes human names are very on the nose, and other times, not so much, don’t worry about it.”, all while laughing, our meal was then wrapped in a thin-ish flat disk of strayu, I asked how humans had strayu in large enough quantities to sell like this, so soon after meeting us, this caused summer and Janak to laugh and my human to look confused, Janak explained that the humans had many different types of strayu, called bread apparently, and that they developed it independently and much, much earlier on in their cultural evolution than us, he also said that it tasted, different, not necessarily bad, but definitely not the same. The humans had chosen a bratwurst hot dog each from a german food stall, run by the british catering company, whilst mine and Janak’s was from a greek stall, also run by the british catering company.
After eating we went up to the stalls to the right of the entrance, where, my human bought a new wallet, and I bought several human confectionaries, at the end, there were several very primitive cloth tents, with people walking around in clothes that were very clearly not of this century, and they all carried weapons, such as knives, swords and axes. My human got quite excited at this and went over to speak with a group wearing helmets, chainmail and animal skins with jewellery woven into it, they had a table full of axes and swords with shields around it and spears poking out of the ground nearby, one of them holding a Dane axe!, after a lengthy conversation with a few of them we walked away with a card containing contact information, so that my human could join their re-enactment group. The central area was now host to two humans on motorbikes performing stunts and various tricks, while an announcer spoke to the crowd, as we walked down the backside of the central ring and towards the boats again we saw several small and quite slow steam engines making their way in our general direction, after we passed them I saw a dog, a truly fearsome beast tied to the front of a colossal steam engine, with, what i assumed to be the engine’s owner nearby talking to a woman with another dog, after we passed them we decided to have a go at the plate smash stand, Janak, summer and myself did terribly but my human hit every shot bar one, then we kept on moving, Janak and I had decided to go on the “THE SUPER SKID CARS'' with our respective humans. IT WAS A HUGE SPECKING MISTAKE!!!! A few seconds in, I was clinging to my human’s arm crying, he was holding me, softly stroking my head and speaking soothingly to me. About a minute in, i was able to open my eyes and sit there, still clinging to my human, as he continued to hold me, i noticed that he too seemed to be on the verge of tears, although i suspected for a different reason, after a while i got used to the speed, and asked my human to start swinging us, he did and i screamed in delight, it was so much fun, we sung along to a song i don't know the name of and moved so fast, i could feel my stomachs shift and shake around inside my body, after the ride finished i was so high on adrenaline that i felt like i could do anything, the same could not be said for Jamak, he looked utterly petrified and on the verge of throwing up. We returned to the shooting area and this time we only spent £5 each and i missed every shot, but it was fun, my human only got a tube of CHEWITS this time, but we still had fun, we then made our way back to the ferris wheel, we all went on and once we reached the top we stopped and i thought that something was wrong, until i looked down, now i'm braver than most venlil but this height was insane, however i now knew why we had stopped, a man and his son were getting on, however as i leaned back it caused our seating pod to rock back and forth, this made me freeze in terror as i pictured us falling and going splat on the ground below, and then we were moving again, and then we were on the ground, but we were still moving and then we were high in the air again, after this cycle of up and down had repeated another three times we finally got off, my whole body quivering with the after effects of terror, Jamak was clinging onto Summer’s arm and refused to let go as she lugged him around.
We made our way back to the boats and we all decided to go on, all except Jamak of course, at least he had let go of summer by now, this time i kept my eyes open the whole time and several of the other humans on board were screaming in delight, it was hilarious, my human, summer and i were all laughing, and as the boat slowed down, my human let go of the netting and put his feet back down, then the operator told him to put them back up and to keep holding on, so he put his hands up to hold on again and as he went to put his feet back up, the boat sped up again leading to my human hanging vertically and as we came back down, summer an i tried to hold him in place and check to see if he was ok, but he just wouldn't stop laughing, after the ride had stopped and we had gotten off, he finally stopped, and loudly exclaimed “DID YOU SEE THAT, IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME, HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!” this prompted summer to loudly exclaim “suicidal cunt, your going to give me a heart attack one of these days!”, this caused him to chuckle again and say “you’re one to talk aren’t you? And I'm way more likely to have a heart attack than you, genetic disorders, remember?”This went on until we reached the car parking field, where we went our separate ways, i was buzzing the whole way home as we listened to even more music and chatted, once we arrived home my tiredness hit me like a stampeding mazic and i fell face first onto the sofa.
When I woke up my human had bought me a glass of apple juice and was sitting next to me with one of his dogs on his lap, the large German shepherd Labrador cross breed, named Leela. She was huffing happily as my human rubbed her stomach. It had taken quite a while to warm up to the large and loud beast, but now she was a brilliant addition to my little herd and I can't imagine living without her here.
“Thank you, for the day out, it was wonderful, and I’m sorry for the way I acted about it this morning.”
“That’s fine, I had fun, and it seems you did too, that’s all that matters, that we both had fun.”
“You're the best friend a venlil could ask for, you know that right? I love spending time with you Oscar, even if you don’t love me, just know that I love you…. sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.”
“Hey, hey” Oscar said, softly, as I started to cry. “Just because I’m aromantic, doesn’t mean I can’t feel love, just not romance, I still love you, just platonically, now come and give me a hug, you silly sheep!” He said happily.
“I'm not a sheep, you stupid ape!” I responded jokingly, feigning indignation.
“I love you oscar”
“I love you too, Talik, now let’s get some dinner, we have to go back to work tomorrow.” and with that he stood up, finished his apple juice and walked into the kitchen.

First off my memory is trash because I was abused by my parents for my entire childhood so I barely remember anything, but I do remember a therapist suggesting I get away from my parents and have some space. Her suggestion was summer camp. I was 17.
I was super excited at the idea! I really wanted to stay at a camp that had the cliche outdoor activities.
Instead, my parents found a wilderness camp where you backpack the entire time. They told me it would be fun because it would be a bunch of kids my age like 20 of us and it would be just like a more active outdoor camp. I was just happy to get away from my parents so I agreed.
I flew in, and bumped into another kid going to a wilderness camp thing. He said he loved them and did them every year and they always had a bunch of teens so I was starting to feel more excited. However, when we landed it turned out he was part of a totally different camp that happened to be meeting at the same airport. when I met my group it was literally 5 other kids all younger than me by at least 2 years.
I called my parents crying and telling them it was nothing like what they told me, they said “hang in there” and that was that.
We backpacked very intensely. It was not pleasant. Lots of screaming at us to go go go. No time to talk to each other. We also did some stuff that was pretty unsafe. One of our camps was right by a bear. We crossed an ice ridge. I’m very active and love the outdoors but this shit felt unsafe and wrong.
The kids all hated being there, we all took turns running off when ever we happened to stay at a shared campsite we would look for pay phones to call our families and try to convince them to pick us up.
I can’t remember much but I remember thinking a few times I might die out here. I Remember crying on the phone to my parents and they repeatedly telling me to “hang in there” before I was back out on the trail.
In total the program was like 2 months. It was super traumatizing and I had told a few friends about it over the years and they all thought it sounded like one of those troubled teen wilderness programs.
But some of the kids didn’t seem like they were there as a punishment, it was almost like their parents just didn’t know what the place was. I only remember one kid on the trip who was a bit of a shit and I remember finding out his parents sent him on this as punishment.
I’m sorry this is unclear, it’s hard to remember I only recall bits and pieces here and there but it’s like trying to grab tissue paper out of the wind I keep catching a piece and then losing it again.

I am looking for some advice on how to get certified in the UK (via the cheapest method).

Bit of background... I am 40 and towards the end of a years career break. I have worked in IT all my life (last role was IT manager) and want to transition to 27001 lead audit role.

I have just passed the CISA exam and now want to get the 27001 LA boxed off.
​
I can't see a way of getting the exam done without doing (spending £££) on a 5-day course (£2000 approx).
​
Is there no way for me to do a cheap course (Udemy) and book an exam, without using a training provider?

I'm from mangalore and am in the city for my work. I booked an uber auto from near Taramani to my hotel in T Nagar.
After getting on the auto I asked the auto driver if he has Google pay. I asked this in Tamil. He said yes, and then he was like, I was expecting you to speak in English. After that he asked me if I was Christian. I said no, I'm Muslim.
Then after a few minutes he said, can I tell you something;
He said he has 4 daughters, elder one studying MBA in some college, second daughter in some other college for BA. And the other two are in school.
He said he has taken loan out for his eldest daughters college fees. And he can't afford his second daughters fees of 13,500 and his church paid him 5000, and he wants help.
I asked him for proof. He opened his WhatsApp and showed me his 'daughters' college ID card.
I was looking at his phone when he did this. Initially he accidentally opened a different WhatsApp chat, no name was saved, that said "I've sent 3.5k".
I asked him if he had any communication from the college he could show me. He showed me some challan forms. Said this and his daughters ID card is what he has now.
I said I'll think about it.
Then further, after sometime he said the same story, this time he said the church had given him 5k+ 5k and he needs 3.5k more.
I told him I'll WhatsApp him later and got off at my destination.
Im pretty sure it's a scam. Especially since I saw that random WhatsApp chat that said " I've sent you 3.5k"
What do you guys think Is this a scam? Is this a common scam? Should I report this person to uber?
