I recently picked up a 4K 60Hz monitor and have been trying to connect my MacBook Pro to it. Problem I’m facing is that the 60Hz option is not available in display settings, only a top of 30Hz.
Furthermore when I change the resolution to 3840x2160 the scale and text becomes super small, the menu bar only being a few mm.
I’m using the following - 13 inch 2020 MBP (2 ports) 1.4GHz Quad Core Intel Core i5 on Ventura 13.4 - Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter Model A2119 - AOC U28P2U monitor
I’m using a pretty generic HDMI cable but I tried using the HDMI cable that came with my ps5 as well which is a high speed 2.1 cable and same issue.
Any thoughts?

Installing Pokémon Masters

Pokémon Masters is available worldwide except for Belgium and The Netherlands due to bans on loot boxes.

Reroll means that you make a new account and look at what you got from your scout. If you don't like your first few multi-pulls, you delete the account and create a new one again and so on until you are satisfied.

If you're an existing player, delete your local data or cache first. Otherwise, do not link your account to Nintendo. Doing so will bind your Pokémon Masters account to your Nintendo profile permanently and can no longer be removed.
As of now, if you progress up to the point when co-op mode is unlocked, you can get at least 21.000 gems, the equivalent of 7 multis, earning at least 231/400 scout points (33 scout points per multi scout), allowing you to scout at least 77 Sync Pairs. Completing the following checkpoints will let you receive gems as completion rewards:

1. When is anniversary coming?

2 Why hasn't my Pokemon evolved? It's at Level [X]!
Evolution requires an evolution item available in the Training Area (Evolution Material Area). Upon earning the Evolution Materials, you need to go to the Sync Pair Stories to trigger the Evolution Story.
3. Should I save to do 11 multi-scouts instead of single scouts?
You can now get x11 units instead of 10, so yes, but we strongly recommend you to save gems for Poké Fair or Master Fair banners (which has a higher rate for 5★ characters).
4. How many gems are required to receive a Sync Pair of my choice?
36.600 non-paid gems (or 36.300 gems + 100 paid gems for a daily single pull), which is the equivalent of 400 scout points. Scout points do not carry over between banners.
5. What does [X]/5, [Y]/20, etc mean?
When you obtain a Sync Pair, they're at 1/5 Sync Move level. Rolling a dupe of that Sync Pair, or using a Move Candy will increase it by 1 level. 3/5 is the minimum for most sync pairs to complete their Sync Grid, but some Poké Fairs have grid expansions that require their Sync Move to be completely maxed out at 5/5 for their full Sync Grid.
At the same time, Sync Pairs are at 0/20 Potential when they're just obtained. Giving Sync Pairs Powerups will raise their Potential and stats. When a Sync Pair is given 20 powerups, their star level will be increased. Getting a unit to 5★ 20/20 is mandatory for it to further upgrade to 6★ EX (if it has one).
6. How do I Unlock The Level cap of my units?
Training Area (Cap Unlock Area), (Cap Unlock Area 2), Exchange in the shop, Events.
7. Where do I get the manuals to level up my sync pairs?
Training Area (Level up Area), Exchange in the shop, Events, random drops in Trainer Lodge.
8. How do I get Sync orbs?
Training Area (Sync orb Area), Exchange in the shop, Events, Champion Stadium Master Mode (6K & 7.5K), random drops in Trainer Lodge.
9. What are Theme Skill and how do I get items to power them up?
Theme Skill is a new ability that raises the stats of your Sync Pairs if any of them has a common position, type, region, trainer group, or other features with another pair (or pairs) in the same team. Skill Spheres, which can be obtained in Theme Skill area and Champion Stadium Master Mode, are required to upgrade them.
10. What Lucky Skill should I roll for [X]? How do I get Lucky Cookies and Scrolls to unlock a Sync Pair's Lucky Skill?
Refer to Sync Grid Builds & Lucky Skills (by u/MomoSpark) for more details.
In general, the choices of Lucky Skills follow the roles of Sync Pairs:
There are exceptions to some Sync Pairs. For example,
Lucky Cookies and Lucky Scrolls can all be obtained in Battle Villa (Single Player & Co-op), Blissful Bonanza, and Legendary Gauntlet. Legendary Gauntlet can provide unlimited 3★ Lucky Cookies as well as Deluxe Cookies exclusive to that mode after each successful stage clear, and their drop chance increases with longer win streaks.
11. What are the Sync Move effects of 6★ EX Sync Pairs of different roles? Who should I promote to 6★ EX first?
Each role gives different effects to Sync Moves when upgraded to 6★ EX.
Support is usually prioritized for promotion to 6★ EX because its EX effect effectively doubles the damage of all allied sync pairs after first sync and is more widely applicable across most game modes, and the increased stats from raising the support's Potential greatly enhances its bulk to tank stages.
For Strikers, if their kit has a very high DPS (e.g. SS Red & Charizard, Diantha & Gardevoir, etc.), or includes a powerful Sync multiplier (e.g. Steven & Metagross's Haymaker, Barry & Empoleon's Inertia, etc.), you are highly recommended to upgrade them to 6★ EX to apply the damage to all opponents. This applies to Tech, but only if the unit is a Sync nuker (e.g. Marnie & Morpeko, May & Swampert, etc.).
Promoting Support-type units to 6★ EX is not a must, but it's always an added bonus, especially if their Sync Move can provide any additional effects via passive or grid skills.
Always remember to upgrade Rosa to 6★ EX because the materials are obtainable for free.
12. Which Sync Pair should I use my candy on?
Refer to Which Sync Pair Should You Give Your Candy To? (Infographic) (by u/MuddyDummy) for more details.
Always save your candies unless the Sync Pair is exclusive to Seasonals, Poké Fairs or Master Fairs. Most Sync Pairs are usable at 1/5. You can always "accidentally" pull the unit you've been looking for from the normal pool, but you never know when limited Sync Pairs will rerun again. This may not apply to Sync Pairs that are your favorite.

Common Technical Questions/Errors

Below lists all common technical errors you may encounter during the game, as well as how you can fix it. You are strongly encouraged to contact DeNA with any problems at [[email protected]](/) if any of these advice do not help.
  1. Error 20103 — Please check your connection and try again: Usually caused due to lack of connection or sudden disconnection. Try playing the game in a place with more stable connection.
  2. Error 10102 — An error has occurred. Restarting the game: This error is often triggered because it detects your phone is rooted, or that you are using external applications which allows opening multiple accounts on the same device. For rooted phone users, make sure you hide your rooted status.
  3. Game crashed mid-battle: Restart the app and clear your cache. This option is available in the bottom-left corner of the title screen.
  4. Does Pokémon Masters work on emulators? No. As of now, PM is not compatible with any of the emulators (including Bluestacks, Nox, etc.) However, playing two accounts on the same device is possible on Android by cloning with Island.

note im assuming you use windows, you may be able to use other similar programs for other operating systems.
Requirements: Fiddler Classic, a version of iTunes for Windows below 12.6.5, an Apple ID that has downloaded the app in the past, and an ios device that is compatible with the version you're downloading :)
  1. Open fiddler and itunes
  2. On iTunes, sign in.
  3. on fiddler open tools->options->https and click actions and trust the certificate, (you can remove it later) then turn on Decrypt HTTPS Traffic
  4. in iTunes, redownload the game through the purchases section of the App Store. If you can't find it, click the dropdown in the upper right, (which defaults to Music) edit menu, enable the Apps tab, and select it, then click app store, and the text on the right saying Purchased.
  5. double click the request in fiddler that has “buyProduct” and click textview on the **bottom section**
  6. in the find box, type softwareversionexternalidentifiers and take one of the numbers in the list below, and paste it somewhere like a notepad window. the list is ordered from oldest version to newest! Ignore the text around the numbers.
  7. right click the buyProduct request and click copy->Just Url
  8. in the black textbox, type “bpu (paste the url)” and press enter to set a breakpoint for that request
  9. in itunes, delete angry birds epic from your library and redownload it.
  10. in fiddler, double click the new buyProduct request and click textView on the **top section**
  11. replace the number below “appExtVrsId” with the number you saved earlier, without altering the surrounding text
  12. click the button that says "run to completion"
  13. on the device you wish to install the game on, turn off automatic updates for apps in settings, or it WILL auto update.
  14. install the app to your device through iTunes
  15. If iTunes refuses to recognize your device, you can use a third party program to do this, the ipa file will be located in Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications
  16. in fiddler tools->options->HTTPS turn off Decrypt HTTPS traffic, then click actions and “remove interception certificates” to remove the fiddler root certificate.

In the past, I was able to use Quicktime > File > New Movie Recording to make a recording from my Apple TV. Now, Apple TV is not showing up under "Camera" in the menu that opens next to the red dot.
Apple TV is on & signed into same wifi network & Apple Id. This capability is not specified in current pages on apple.com. Non-Apple sites still describe this option. Anyone have better luck with this? Would Apple just shut down a capability without any announcement?

Greetings ya'll. I'm a college student who's finally gotten to the point where it's time for me to think about where/what I'll be doing after I graduate. I'm VERY far off from having the sort of agency to buy/develop/own land where I want to, so I'm just looking around and dipping my toe in the waters right now. For context, I was born and raised on a generational farm/homestead in the southern US, think upper Louisiana/lower Arkansas area. I have several siblings who might take over the land, and I absolutely despise the summer climate here, so my pipe dream is relocating somewhere more north/northwest, around the Wyoming/Colorado area. The industry I work in pays enough that I believe if I budget well and stay single, I'd have enough money to make this dream a reality in the next 15 years tops.

I know homesteading in practice, not as a science, so forgive me for any agricultural ignorance I might spout out here in a second.
My ideal homestead, based off what I was raised on, would consist of the following:
I realize all of this isn't possible everywhere, especially in regards to trees (which are very picky about their environment in my experience) and bees. When I was a kid, the sidewalks that ran along the streets contained lost treasure, were the ramps for our bikes, and wound a long path to friends’ houses. I hadn’t seen these sidewalks in nearly 30 years, and when I peeked inside the old house with green shutters, the cabinets still were a shade too dark of brown and the yellow and brown countertops still contained the burn marks of a science experiment gone wrong.
This is where we held “coffee can court,” as we called it. Everyone would put two dollars into a coffee can and we’d air our dirty laundry. It was like playing baseball shorthanded, though, where you’d throw the ball up in the air and play both the pitcher and hitter at once because there were never enough players for a full game.
Judge, jury and executioner sat in the same seat. The bailiff and the plaintiff were the same. The crying mother who couldn’t figure out what she had done wrong for her son to end up here, and the court clerk whose face only communicates boredom no matter how much the mother wails, both represented by the stoic face of an 8 year old brother.
The rules were simple: 6 dollars to be divided up among the kids to correct the wrongs of the previous week. We rotated through each week, and if you were the judge last week, perhaps your generosity or revenge would be remembered this week.
He wore a suit that he bought out of the back of an 18 wheeler sale that traveled through town. The type where they unload everything and set it up on tables that contain foreign made table saws, pellet guns, and suits made in countries he’d oftentimes get confused. When I was a kid, I watched him walk out the back door with a beer can whose color changed based on what was on sale. He’d take a couple drinks and then pour the rest out.
The liquid would coat the green of the shrubs and the orange and pink flowers that lined his deck. It’d sparkle when the setting sun hit it just right. I’m ashamed that I didn’t judge that man more. How wasteful to pour it out, only to see it glimmer in the sunlight. That was 20 years ago, I suppose, and in 20 more years, I suspect I’ll be ashamed for wishing I had judged him more. That man knew what enough was. Something I’m not sure I’ll ever learn.
Twenty years of memories never counted for much, at least in a place like that. Two roads that run on forever and there’s no reason to turn around and go back. You either stayed or you left. There’s no in between. That’s the hell of it, really; there’s no in between.
Four hours after leaving that town, I found the in between. In between there and home, it seemed. She had quiet eyes that spoke too softly when she wanted to scream. That’s the type of woman you find in the in between. The last restaurant I had seen was over an hour ago, so I guess that explains the mix of egg rolls, tacos, and apple pie on the menu.
Her blue and white apron looked as generic as the parking lot, but I suspect she made it herself. The seams were double stitched with two neat rows of stitches around the edges. It’s uncommon to see that type of pride anywhere, but here it felt like it fit right in.
When she spoke, her voice sounded like it was carrying her dreams off to another place. Maybe she’d make a run to the northeast and eat fresh crab. They serve it here, but she’s sure it tastes better there. If for no other reason than you can watch the fisherman bring it in.
“You gonna give me one lil’ egg roll?” I inquired. Not sure of what the standard process was.
“I gave you two,” she replied. Not sure if she meant two egg rolls or two secrets whispered in low tones about how she’d get out of here if she could.
“Oh.”

Resolve is not launching no matter what I do. I've tried restarting, installing studio drivers, and reinstalling, and nothing has worked.
Something that may be of note is that when it asked me to restart after I installed it I did not restart immediately and tried opening it anyways.

I am going insane. I have a couple of TV Shows with dual audio tracks and I am trying to watch it via Swiftfin on AppleTV. How do I actually change languages? Where is that menu? When you pause the video you have options of skipping an episode forward/backward, some play/stop button that doesn't do anything and the subtitle button (that turns the subtitles on or off). But how do I get to the menu that allows to change audio tracks or subtitle tracks? I was trying all the swiping combinations and somehow was able to get there twice, but I still don't understand how I got there. Can anyone please help as this is driving me insane!

I love how the AppleTV has a menu item for music videos, but I’m either overlooking the same option or it’s just not built in to the iPad app. I’m trying to find some fun music videos to download to my library on my iPad since our internet connection can sometimes be very flakey. Steaming from the servers sometimes doesn’t work in my rural location, but I like to play music videos to my TV when having friends over for game nights.
UPDATE: I figured it out. Gotta use the Search button, make sure Apple Music is selected (not Library) and there should be a list you can select from. Find and select “Categories” which will show “Apple Music Gaming” (didn’t know this was a category before today) and “Music Videos”.
